Fitment comes from each tire's manufactured size list, and the sizes are the ones drivers reported when they reviewed. Check the size, load index and speed rating on your own doorplate before buying - a size a previous owner ran is not always the size your car left the factory on.

Michelin Primacy 5 Energy 235-60-18 Mercedes Benz GLC220d 150 miles April 13, 2026
These are premium tires with the highest ratings in basically everything. I mainly value comfort with quiet tires and good wet properties. I don't have "aggressive" driving. I have increased the tire pressure to 2.9 - 3.0 but it is not felt when driving. Highly recommended.

Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen 3 SUV 265-60-18 Mercedes Benz GLC220d 80,000 miles December 18, 2025
Second set of these on a Mercedes GLC. Absolutely perfect and can’t fault them in any way. (but haven’t used in winter weather beyond light snow and frosty roads). Get minimum 30k+ of even wear front and back. Very quiet even when worn. With 4WD, they offer more grip than I can ever use.
Have stood light off-roading and plenty of kerb bumping without any damage. I would now not buy anything else.

Pirelli Scorpion All Season SF3 235-55-19 Mercedes Benz GLC220d 1,000 miles August 14, 2025
new tires replacing the oe pirelli scorpion ( summer) tires , initial report after 1000 miles it that they are good quiet and quite responsive not had any real rain or snow , just very hot roads and they are good but have not gaven them any grief especially in the 30 plug deg heat . I am waiting for the autumn to start and looking forward for some wet/cold weather here in normally muddy wet wales

Dunlop SportMaxx RT 235-55-19- Mercedes Benz GLC220d 1,000 miles May 5, 2022
Very loud! Unpleasant at 30Km/h and really annoying above 50Km/h. Don't buy these, certainly not in the dimension 235/55R19

Bridgestone Dueler HP Sport 225-45-17- Mercedes Benz GLC220d 15,000 miles March 24, 2022
Fitted to a new Mercedes GLC AMG 220D permanent 4 wheel drive. Average driving on a variety of motorway, town and rural A and B roads and all year driving. Grip generally good. My only grope is miles completed... 15K on the rear and 17K on the front. I am unlikely to buy these again. I think there are better tires out there for the money. Tire spec was Bridgestone Dueller Sport, 235/55 R 19 101V MO.

Where this data comes from

Every rating on this page was submitted by a driver through the review form on this site, naming the car, the tire, the size and the distance covered. Reviews are checked by hand before publication, and the page rebuilds automatically as new ones arrive.

About the TR Score

The Tire Reviews Score rates each tire out of 10 using independent test results and the full body of owner reviews, so you can check a car-specific ranking against the wider evidence.

Who does the testing

Every test published as a Tire Reviews test is run by Jonathan Benson, who has been testing tires independently since 2007.
