225/60 18 Tire Review Highlights

Vredestein Ultrac plus rated 86% while driving a Honda CRV
Driving on a combination of roads for 500 spirited miles
Changed from Pirelli All Season Plus to Ultrac+ this year, had no issues going at my car's Vmax in heavy rain on a highway.
They are much quieter than All Season Pirellis, the noise is mainly a low hum, which is nicer to the ear than the alternatives.
I feel more comfortable when cornering at speed with them. Been driving some forest/field roads and they held up nicely. The tread doesn't seem as deep as other brands, will update how things are looking after 10k km.

Goodyear EfficientGrip 2 SUV rated 83% while driving a Subaru Outback
Driving on mostly motorways for 25000 easy going miles
Very good tire, but little bit loud, but maybe its just car.

Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen 3 rated 54% while driving a BMW X3
Driving on a combination of roads for 1200 easy going miles
Tires have 2000+ klm on wet and dry roads. So far, grip in wet road is quite efficient and tire performance is good. On dry roads their performance is bad to poor, not a good grip, squirm effect is heavy, above 130-140klm/hr you feel the car slipping.
Another serious issue, is that car is pulling left (despite 3 alignment carried out already) especially above 50-60klm/hr. With a speed of 140klm/hr at highway turns, you can follow the turn and wheel is straight.

Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV rated 91% while driving a Peugeot 3008 exclusive
Driving on a combination of roads for 70000 spirited miles
Excellent tired in all classes. Extra quiet as well. They wear quicker than average, but that is the trade-off for the performance. I drive them spirited as well, in a hot clinate, so that doesn't help with wear.

Toyo Open Country UT rated 45% while driving a Subaru Outback
Driving on a combination of roads for 1000 average miles
Bery quiete and soft. But hantling and braking is poor. It feels like driving winter tire in hot summer.

Falken EUROWINTER HS02 Pro rated 98% while driving a Toyota RAV4
Driving on a combination of roads for 7000 spirited miles
Really solid tires, I didn't expect them to be good through snow however they performed very well. But they're even better on dry and wet roads.

Yokohama Bluearth E51 rated 47% while driving a Lexus NX 300
Driving on a combination of roads for 17000 easy going miles
These were fitted as standard on a new Lexus NX 300H. They are exceptionally noisy on most road surfaces and seem to invoke a high frequency vibration throughout the vehicle which makes it create a noise like one of the vehicles windows is a tiny bit ajar. On some motorways at 70 mph its almost impossible to hold a conversation with a passenger because of the high cabin noise.

Cooper Discoverer Enduramax rated 90% while driving a Subaru Outback
Driving on mostly country roads for 4000 average miles
Bought these to replace the OEM Yokahama Avid tires on 2024 Subaru Outback Onyx Edition, especially with winter coming. Purchased at Sam's Club for $168.00 per tire-not a bad price at all. The tread is definitely not an aggressive off-road or even AT tread, but the tire is 3 peak mountain winter rated and is made with off-road durability. I have been on some long gravel and small rocky roads and have not even noticed a chip in the tread. On road handling is fine with just a bit of road noise from the tread pattern, which while not an AT pattern, is somewhat aggressive for a road tire. Coupled with the Subaru's AWD system, the tire performed great in several inches of both powdery and wet snow. Likewise, traction of ice was confidence inspiring if you paid attention to your driving. With over 4000 miles on these tires, I would not hesitate to recommend them and wish Subaru would make them their OEM tires! Highly recommended tire.

Pirelli Winter Sottozero 3 rated 84% while driving a Honda CRV
Driving on a combination of roads for 5000 average miles
Excellent winter/Snow and ice and wet tire, performance, very responsive too (I immediately noticed the response change, changing from "Saferich" summer tire)
These sottozero 3 tires are expensive, but they Really deliver in the winter,
I will keep to These tires for many winters to come
