Fitment comes from each tire's manufactured size list, and the sizes are the ones drivers reported when they reviewed. Check the size, load index and speed rating on your own doorplate before buying - a size a previous owner ran is not always the size your car left the factory on.

How long do tires last on the Hyundai Tucson?

Across 23 end of life reviews from Hyundai Tucson drivers, a typical set of tires was worn out after 16,000 miles. Half of all worn-out sets lasted between 12,000 miles and 30,000 miles.

Distances are self-reported by drivers whose review marked the set as worn out; figures are medians, so a single unusual report cannot move them.

If you drive country roads these tires are not for you sidewalls too thin and soft and tear easily

Avon AX7 225-65-17 Hyundai Tucson 50,000 miles September 6, 2026

I have a few mm left till they are done but will change them out because they are getting slippery in rain. When it comes to aquaplaning they are the best I’ve ever driven but sadly they have a tendency of not really gripping some sorts of tarmac, harder and coarser in roundabouts, when wet. This has happened lately and since they have been used for almost three summers I guess it’s age. Still very comfortable and quite silent on Swedish roads

Kormoran Suv Summer 225-60-17 Hyundai Tucson 10,800 miles August 27, 2026

I can't believe just how good these Kormoran SUVs are on the front of my Tuscon. After nearly 11000 miles I've still got over 6mm tread left (ok maybe I'm driving too boringly nowadays!), but seriously the wear is fantastically nuts! I've had 'main brand' tires on before (Hankook Ventus Prime 3 being the most recent) and these 'budget' Kormoran's are at least as good all round and certainly way better on wear. Comfortable, noise, fine for all driving conditions (these tests you read seem to assume we'll all drive like Lewis Hamilton!) - My point being that for normal, safe, legal driving in the UK, they match and beat tires costing way more. Will I buy again? Too right I will!

Bridgestone Blizzak LM005 215-65-17 Hyundai Tucson 15,000 miles April 29, 2026
Honestly, these tires are a complete disaster. The Blizzak LM005 turned out to be one of the worst purchases I’ve made. After a relatively short period of use, they wore down ridiculously fast — like they’re made of soap instead of rubber.

And the worst part: the tread became visibly deformed, almost warped. Because of that, the car started vibrating and feels unstable, especially at higher speeds. The driving feel? Like you’re riding on something that barely has proper contact with the road.

For a ‘premium’ product, this is a joke. Quality control is clearly nonexistent or they simply don’t care. I paid serious money for these and ended up with tires that feel ready for the trash after one season. Completely unacceptable.

I’m not someone who usually leaves reviews — in fact, this is the first time I’ve ever felt the need to write one. The only reason I’m posting this is to warn anyone considering these tires: think twice. I’m genuinely frustrated that I spent money on something this bad.

I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy

Absolutely horrendous tire. Stock tire on 2023 Hyundai Tuscon and tread on all four tires is deterioriating. Chunks of it are breaking off. Waiting to see what Hyundai says before we replace tires and send Hyundai the bill.

I had to replace all four winter tires urgently when the studs were gone. I went from GoodYear, which was the test winner, to these Nexen. They don't mess around even if they don't quite reach the same level as GoodYear. They are easy to drive on the edge of grip on ice, snow, and I also experience that they release progressively so that I have time to slow down and save the situation.

excellent grip on snow and ice , better grip than blizzaks 5 when cornering . tried them in moutain roads by -12 degrees C , going uphill (10%) on 5cm snow: no problem. I used Konig chains in 20cm snow because the snow plow hadn't cleared the way ...

Continental VikingContact 7 235-65-17 Hyundai Tucson 12,129 miles December 22, 2025
Great tire so far. I am now using them for my second season. When purchased, I opted for 17" which is -2 from OE for my 19" tire size - the result is the same size that would be found on the base gasoline-powered trim level of my car (a 2024 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid). Asthetically, the taller profile of the tires makes my car look a bit more aggressive and ready to pounce on the snow.

During my first season, I found the Vikings were as quiet as my OE Michelin Primacy tires. The tires also provided an unexpectedly slightly firmer ride vs. the Primacy tires, but this firmness seems to have softened up a bit in my second season. I'm running the tires at 36 psi. These tires have great grip in the snow - the grip loosens up predictably if you are going too quickly while accelerating in a corner. The car handles very well in the dry and wet.

The only downside I have noticed is that my fuel economy is slightly worsened by maybe 0.3 L/100 km more? Despite that, I highly recommend this tire!
