Very good tire, not comfortable for street driving as it is erratic on uneven roads.

Suprisingly good on dry traction and wear. Keep it well inflated and ensure camber bolts are in the front keeping at least -1.2° and the tires will last better than RE003. Wet traction is average and tire feedback is weak. You don't know when you will lose grip.

I bought these as novice track tires, I have done 3 track days with them. I have also been using them for daily driving and a couple road trips this summer. Overall I cannot recommend these enough to other people who are also new to track driving. They aren't really fast tires and don't have the most grip, but they do an amazing job communicating to you exactly when the car is going to break loose. They squeal really loudly when you're driving at the limit of your grip and have nice wide slip angles. They are also pretty durable, I can definitely get several more track days out of them. As far as daily driving goes, they're totally fine. They aren't wearing fast, especially when compared to grippier track tires, and the comfort is also fine. They're perfectly safe to drive in the rain as long as you're driving like a normal person.

much better than i expected. amazing value for money. they look amazing, fat and thick. they’re decent for daily use. no where near as loud as i expected on the highway. the dry grip is excellent once the tires are warm and they provide really good feedback on the limit. i know exactly when im losing grip. wet grip isn’t great though but i expected that. keep it below 100kmh on the highway when it rains and you’ll be fine but sometimes you do feel it hydroplane especially when switching lanes. overall a very good tire priced very well.

Been using these for a few months now, mostly for daily driving but i also sometimes did some hard touge driving on the weekends, here are my thoughts : 1. Dry grip : it's about the same level as your typical Michelin Pilot Sport 4 which is a little bit disappointing for a "200TW extreme performance track tire", i was expecting atleast Pilot 4S kind of grip. 2. Wet grip : decent, no issues with aquaplanning but it does have some slight understeer here and there. 3. Road feedback : good, you could feel even the tiny bumps through the steering wheel. 4. Handling : very predictable, you'll know exactly what the car's gonna do, whether it'll do an understeer or oversteer. 5. Wear : I don't know about the wear yet but some guys on the forum said that these tires are really durable. 6. Comfort : Don't buy this if you wanted comfort since the sidewall is quite stiff and the noise is stupid loud, especially on the highway. 7. Buy again : Overall it's a pretty good tire for the price and what they are. For street use, they have more grip than you need and on the touge it's very predictable and will take some spirited driving abuse. I like them so far, definitely gonna buy again.

Very planted on road when dry. Wet handling is OK but not good for fast drive. Comparable to RE003.

Tires was kidna expensive for 195/50r15 (paid 400€). Very Good Grip on dry for the first 1.5-2 years and about 4000km. Stiff sidewalls good for cornering, bit stiff for city driving with potholes.... Noise a little bit more but nothing crazy. I was expecting a lot more with this kind of treadpattern and driving orientation. Then its like you turned a switch and became mediocore after two years. Wear was fast. It caught me off guard when i checked. I hit the wear limit markers on 9000km for the fronts. Sidewalls start cracking and got sidewall bulges for no particular reason. I think they are unsafe in this kind of condition. On mild wet they were very good for some reason. it hooked like it was a winter tire. Maybe because of the soft compound. Never went out in downpour rain though. Also i met wet roads mostly on the first year of having them

These are my first 200tw tires, and they're eye opening. On the street, these things are nuts. If you're sliding these on the street, you're driving way too fast. They just seem to grip. I've also run these in a few autocross events. I think they could use more grip here, as always. I think they're a little off of "real" 200tw tires, but I also don't have any experience driving with them so not 100% sure. In the wet, the champiros are pretty good so long as they stay in contact with the ground. With other all seasons and mild summer tires in light rain I could easily break traction in aggressive street driving. The Champiros don't have this issue at all. Full throttle in first and second is rock solid. However, they do seem to hydroplane easier. So watch out for standing water. I haven't driven in a wet autocross or track day so I cannot rate that aspect. Wear seems fine so far. I've put a couple thousand miles and ~5 autocross events and they seem to take it well. I payed $80 a tire (pre tax and install), so for the price I'm very happy. I do want to try other tires in this 200tw category so I probably won't personally buy these again. But if you're looking for the next level up from street tires or a cheap way to get into the street autocross classes, go for it.

Running in an Evo3 with 400whp. Dry grip is the party piece for this tire. Definitely still a road tire that can go on track. The dry grip is high. Easily measuring up to Advans, Toyo's or Michelins Pilot Sports. All of which I've had. It will need heat to achieve full grip. On the road, you need to be aware of this. Cold, the brake distances are much longer. But once up to temp, they do stop quite well. Wet handling is not as bad as others might make it to be. But it will aquaplane and you need to be alert. This is not too surprising as the pattern design looks more sport tire than road tire. The blocks are quite big and the grooves are not very deep. These are the same reason it handles well, grips well, good in transitions, the side-walls are stiff. Wear is a let down though. I noticed spirited driving will wear it down quicker than the Advans, Michelins. But for the price--it is a good choice.

so much better than achilles 123s, i was using 123s and this tires are so much less noisy and much comfortable than 123s for daily driven car.

They've got an impressive grip on dry tarmac with quite a good feedback through the steering wheel. You can tell what the tires are doing, whether understeering or oversteering. They're cheap compare to similar tires from Michelin PS4 or Bridgestone Potenza S007. The wet weather performance isn't that great, but when they do aquaplane, the tires will give you plenty of warning and quite controllable. However, if you use these tires in tarmac with a lot of dust or gravel, they will be very slippery. Golf with only around 200hp was lighting up its traction control because the tires couldn't get much grip. If you use these on the track, you need to give them some temperature as they're slippery when cold, but when the temp had come up to their operating window, they're quite sticky. Track use, they will last longer than PS4, more durable. Road use, they will have uneven wear and the middle part of the groves cave in (probably because of pressure or maybe the tires couldn't get enough temp into it) and they will start cracking after 3 years. Don't expect much from comfort because they have stiff sidewall and you could lean on the grip of the tire when the condition is right.

Used them in my daily 106 s16, from everyday use to spirited country road driving they perform very well considering their track oriented character! Wet handling was unexpectedly good, something that was bothering me when i mounted them. Of course hydroplaning is not their best and attention is needed especially with lightweight vehicles.
Their downside is that they wont last long like a normal tire, in everyday use but thats not enough for not buying them again!

Comparable to the rest tires in their price,are the best by far!

This is my 2nd daily set already. Ran these on a race-prepped Honda Integra DC2, and a Honda Civic EG for an 8 and 6 hour endurance race respectively. We ran the race flat out and still have 60-70% tread left.

Also have a set on my Mazda 3 as my daily which i regularly track as well.
