Best Tires for the BMW X5

275/40/20 and 315/35/20.

Awesome tires, I had Pirelli winter tires before, the Continental were better. They lasted 57.000 km

The tires are very good; I used them last winter when heading up to the mountains. The conditions were far from urban—the house is in a remote, wild area, and the roads were poorly cleared—yet the car moved along the uncleared road without any issues. I didn't experience any slipping, even on steep inclines.

After long use during summer months only they perform the same as they did with only 1000 kms on them. Again, these are a more affordable option that comes with a certain amount of sacrifice in performance but I have realistic expectations. If they were as good as top tier tires, the price would reflect that cost of production. If you are like me and are tired of watching a set of $3200 high performance tires dissolve in 40 000 kms, this is a great option. Get a flat...buy another 4 for the price of 2 big brand tires. do your tires rotations and check your psi like you should...regularly.

Nice tires, driven mostly on a motorway, quiet on a high speed. All are great except handling in the curves, here you can feel that side wall is not designed for heavy SUV

Wasn't sure what to expect when I brought an X5 with the SporteX th201 255/50r19 & 285/45r19 tires, ,my initial thoughts were ill buy something better next time. I enjoy quite spirited driving but these tires are miles better than any other budget tire I've used before. Normally they don't perform well & are noisy. These do it all well, very little road noise despite being wide tires, comfort, turn in, grip through the corner is all good & predictable at the limit. Wet grip was better than average but now under 3mm that has tailed off a bit & now feel it try to aquaplane a bit in the wet at higher speeds. Being a budget tire that seemed to perform well, I obviously didn't expect them to last very long as is normally the case but these are on 29000, 2.6-8mm remaining on a big heavy 4x4, I think is very good. This is the first budget tire I would actually happily buy again.

Driving around 6000 miles in hot summer days and some rainy ones on a BMW X5 E70 and for this money tires are good, but they are not premium or ultra or even high performance for sure. Maybe for lighter cars they're fine, but for heavy SUV you must be careful on dry roads, cause they're just loosing the grip if you come up with higher speed. And the feeling in very hot days is not good at all in the cornering. Stopping is fine, acceleration too. In wet conditions they perform better than what I expected which is more important for me. On the highway tires are fine, no additional noise or something. I don't have the same confidence like I have with GoodYear for example. For the price they are very good, but for sure not high performance tire. 4 pairs, 2x 275/40/20 front and 2x315/35/20 rear for 480 euros compared to 1100 euro for premium brands, you can't expect more. But for my better feeling next time I prefer to pay double for premium brands.

My first Allseasons, I am quite surprised how good they are compared to some summer tires I had. They are described as more sporty feeling (less understeer/better turn-in) in comparison to the competition, which I believe from my experience to be true, and what I wanted from the tire - within reason, I am under no delusion these are summer performance tires. Able to handle long rapid motorway transfers on long drives in various conditions. Noise level is dependent on surface quality, if the surface is rough, the noise can increase quite a bit - a tradeoff I am willing to make for how the tire is performing in dry/wet/heat/cold. Confidence inspiring on snow/ice mixed surface if speed is matched to the conditions. No noticeable changes in performance due to wear yet. Exceeded my expectations, would recommend further/buy again.
