Given 94% while driving a BMW M140i (245/35 R18) on a combination of roads for 600 spirited miles
I've had these tires on a BMW M140i now for about 1000km of driving. As soon as the tires were fitted, I drove up to the high country region of Victoria, Australia, the tires have done a bunch of motorway, B road and sporty mountain driving in dry and wet conditions. They replaced Pilot Sport 4s which I had zero issues with. First impressions, the tires are much quieter/comfortable than the ones they replaced. Road imperfections, ruts, bridge expansion joints etc feel less jarring through the car. So comfort when on cruise control on the highway is better. Taking the tires up the mountains, they feel more precise and have stronger "bite" than the outgoing tires, which should be expected. Dry grip is great and wet performance is just as confidence inspiring as before. Some might feel they are a little vague but I felt they were more precise than the old tires. I think it's more a matter of the tires really needing to be pushed to find their limits, which I never did. If you have a HiPo car and don't track it, but like some great tires that don't break traction and give confidence on country roads, these are the tires for you. These will deal with anything you throw at them.

Given 80% while driving a Audi A6 3.0 TDI Quattro (255/35 R21) on a combination of roads for 5,000 spirited miles
Comparing to Pirelli PZero (it should be matched to 4S/5S I think but don`t have other expirience to share) I had, I can immediately notice the understeering with PS5 and increased noise, but still would prefer PS5 due to better dry grip and better performance/feeling during lower temperature.

Given 100% while driving a Audi 1.8T Quattro (225/55 R17) on a combination of roads for 300 spirited miles
This is a completely different tire to the pilot sport 4 ( best ever tire in its category). The casing seems more rigid and demands smoother yet more committed driving style to benefit from the very high limits offered. I have been using the pilot 4 on my Audi Allroad 3.0 lt diesel which I found to be awesome. The new tire is less predictable and enjoyable ( it is worth experimenting by dropping slightly the pressures), can achieve seriously high corner speeds and once you adapt to it you will appreciate it. It is more like changing from a rally tire to a racing tire.

I bought a pair of these to replace the old PS4S's that i had on the back of my remapped 430d RWD. So far they have been faultless with amazing grip in the wet and dry, whilst having great resistance to aquaplaning. The PS5 isn't quite as hardcore as the 4S they replaced but with that comes greater comfort and lower noise levels which suit a GT car more in my opinion. Plus I also think the wet and dry level are just as good if not better than the PS4S.

Full set of pilot sport 5 tires fitted 12,000 miles ago was told they would last 20-30k miles they were driven normally and never spun or tracked really dissatisfied won’t buy them again stick to Pirelli.

Given 94% while driving a Ford Focus ST250 (225/35 R19) on a combination of roads for 3,000 average miles
Had the PS5's on my Focus ST with 19" Snowflake alloys for almost a year. Only done around 3-4k miles with them and they have been excellent. Previously on the front wheels there was some budget tires which weren't great in the wet, frequently lost grip, and produced a lot of noise when cornering. The PS5's have mad a massive difference and I notice a much better driving experience, especially from the front wheels which you'd expect from a tuned front wheel drive car. They handle the power excellently and I now have a lot of confidence when driving for a bit of enjoyment. Out on the long straight motorway journeys however they are quiet and offer a fairly comfortable ride considering the hard suspension set up. Wet performance is very good, sometimes if pushing it the front wheels do spin easily but this is understandable, still good confidence in the wet though. Unsure if it's related but I frequently see mid 30-35mpg round the town and closer to 40mpg on a longer run when driving fairly sensibly which is impressive for a 2L petrol car with some minor modifications.

I share my first impressions, only in the dry and with 1000km on them, and having weared a full set of ps4's before. I've read from other people that they are a slight improvement over the ps4's, but I think these new ps5's are substantially better. For now, they grip even more in the dry and they are less noisy. Steering feeling and precission is also improved, now I feel much more planted and connected to the road than before, with a warming security sensation. On the bad side, i think they are crashy over certain low speed bumps. Saab 9-5 Aero 2002 (stock)

Given 100% while driving a Kia Motors Stinger 2.0 RWD (255/35 R19) on a combination of roads for 1,300 spirited miles
I replaced the rear Pilot Sport 4 tires on my Kia Stinger GT-Line as they were almost bald, but I kept the front Pilot Sport 4 tires and only put new Pilot Sport 5 tires in the rear. These Pilot Sport 5 tires grip hard even in the wet! It was heavily raining last week and despite driving hard and flooring the pedal from almost a dead stop in the wet, there was no tire spin. It just grips and goes! And the sidewall design looks great!

Every M140i owner knows - due to the tire size we haven't got a lot of options in regards to tire choices. I originally opted for the Michelin Pilot Super Sports but these were shocking on all levels - which led me to take them off after two months. I then opted for a mixture of Goodyear F1 super sports on the front and Goodyear assymetric 6 on rear (heard rave reviews about both). They were both great having done 11k on them - the rears needed changing. This is when I changed to the Michelin PS5 - and WOW I am amazed at how good these are. They have transformed this car from sloppy handling having fear in corners to now having my foot on throttle. It is like a match made in heaven. Everything is better than the goodyears and pss i had before. I just wish I got them sooner - I was just skeptical after my trial with the pss

Newly fitted to the front axle replacing the old F1A3, with the 2yrs old PS4 at the back. The PS5 has severe understeering, comparing to F1A3 and PS4 when new, otherewise it is very much the same as the PS4. Wet grip not yet test as the weather was quite dry in recent weeks. And I prefer the sidewall design of PS4 over the PS5....

Grip in wet and dry is astonishing even with traction control off and full chat pull off they still gripped hardly any wheels pin or understeer

Having used potenza's s001 and pirelli cinturato p1 plus, i have to say these are by far the best in every aspect. The most shocking difference apart from dry and wet grip is the comfort of the ride. I can drive around with 38/40 psi without having to pay a visit to the dentist. The handling may not be as dynamic as the best of best tires, but its way more than what the other two offered. After having used pirellis for 5k kms i can say i have recovered the dynamic handling of a GTI.
