Had 4 of these on my Focus Zetec S and have now covered over 16000 miles ,,great all rounder ,,just drive sensibly and they wont let you down ,,will buy again

Excellent tires considering the price. I still have 6.5mm tread left after 8,000 miles. Definitely biting again.

Fitted to front these tires have done 6000 mls and coming to end of life.
Grip on wet and dry good, low noise level, wear is very poor,would not buy

Really like these tires for a mid-range price point. Good grip and comfortable ride, will purchase again.

Had 2 of these fitted to the front of my car, previously having continental sport contact 5 which I found to be rubbish nearly running me off the road a few times, these were a pleasant surprise I did about 10k with them and Ive not had an issue in dry or wet. One thing I was very unhappy about was the low rim protection compared to the Continentals there was none. Overall would recommend these tires but not if you care about your wheels.

Very poor tire for octavia VRS. Excessive road noise. Quickly feathered & lost its shape. Complained to Avon as I bought four of these. Got no response. Complained to fitting centre & they told me to buy a better brand.... Not helpful.

Had a set of these fitted to a new-to-me 2.0 litre MX5 Mk3 (was going to get Kumhos, but they were unavailable on the day).
The car previously had four totally different no-name brands on it, one on each corner, in various states of wear. To say that it felt different with the brand spanking new Avons on would be stating the blindingly obvious, but it's *so* different that it's really notable.
I've taken the car for a couple of long-ish motorway runs, to work and back a few times and for some 'spirited' drives in the country near where I live. They're quieter than some reviews would have you believe, I've only got them to break traction when I've wanted them to and they haven't surprised me by doing so unexpectedly yet (maybe I'm not trying hard enough). They've got decent grip in the wet and the feedback through the wheel is OK, but not brilliant. They'll last me some time so I might come back and do a mid-term review when I've hurt them a bit more!

I have had two sets of these fitted to my Audi A3, they were always a good deal retailing for around £65 fitted. Good grip in the wet and dry even when pushed to the limit, however the second set I bought have only lasted me around 4500 miles. I have decided to spend a bit more this time and go for Goodyear EfficientGrip tires.

Ive a 1.9 TDi sport Passat. It’s been remapped and a few tweaks It is driven hard most of the time on variety roads from motorway to B roads and minor roads. I think these are possibly the best wet grip tires I’ve tried. Easily better than a certain brand of ‘wet-sport’ tires. I will fit them to impreza when it requires them probably next month amd see how they go on it.
But first class tires no noticeable difference in performance compared to ones £50+ more expensive.

Ok, I left a review of this tire in October 2016.
Reporting back after 13000 miles. I have rotated the tires twice since fitting and they are now between 5 and 6 mm tread depth. My driving is steady on mainly A roads at 40-50 mph. The tires shift water very well, they are still good when the temp is below zero. I'm very happy with them, and when they reach 3 mm will buy them again without hesitation.

We run two Peugeot 407 Coupes which are big heavy cars (uses the Citroen C6 chassis but with conventional double wishbone and IRS suspension) and the cars have covered 25,000 miles between them on Avon ZV7s.

Grip is superb in the dry and wet, although I have noticed that when cornering in the wet on a bumpy road they are prone to breaking grip for a millisecond before gripping again.

Tire wear isn't too excessive but the first pair of fronts were munched in 10,000 miles (I change mine at 3mm). I also have a sporty 206 wearing Pirelli Cinturato and an MG Midget on Yokohamas, both of which show no signs of wear despite spirited driving, although fewer miles and lighter cars, so maybe not a great comparison!

Comfort is good and we recently drove 2000+ miles to the South of France and back, whisper quiet and enough meat to make driving at speed on French roads a pleasure.

Early days-200 miles since fitted. Noticeably quieter than the [worn] Prestivo S1s and Avon ZV5s they replaced. Have not been pushed to the limits of adhesion when cornering or braking- and hopefully never will be. Useful slight bulge at the side might spare the alloys some time. Impressed so far.
