275/30 19 Tire Review Highlights

Dynamo STREET H MU02 rated 97% while driving a BMW 535d M Sport
Driving on a combination of roads for 4500 spirited miles
Purchased a second set now previously branded Blacklion champoint bu66. Fly through alot of tires with mainly spirited driving. 245/35/19 on front. Used Dunlop rt maxx, Pirelli p zero , Conti contact sport 6, & Avon. Had a puncture unluckily in the sidewall unrepairable on the branded tires and it was replaced intially with these as a set on the rear to keep me going for abit but i stuck with them as i didn't notice much difference until pushed very hard compared to premium but the road feel & feedback is very similar. So put these on the front too. Very decent in the rain too when pushed but will not let go without the driver having the feedback. Imo iv almost halved the cost of tires with little sacrifice and not changed my driving style either. These tires last longer than the top brands if you want ultimate grip and performance can only point to the MIchelin ps4 tire but these do a similar job to the brands tried and tested listed above. Low noise good comfort at any speed. The vehcile is also polybushed all round and sitting on coilovers, so good grip is key. Yes iv skimped out by buying budgets for my torque monster but i class these as performance tires from my experience. Not many know about this tire or brand created in Vietnam by the Sailun group to compete with the leading tire brands at a budget price great research has gone into arguably 'copying' & developing what makes a premium tire and i think they have achived this successfully with the design and materials used.

Kumho Ecsta LE Sport rated 69% while driving a Ford Falcon FGX XR8
Driving on mostly town for 10000 spirited miles
Found the wall strength to be poor. If hit a pothole or small object, tire would bubble on the wall.

Nankang NS2 rated 50% while driving a Jaguar 5.0 XK Portfolio
Driving on a combination of roads for 0 spirited miles
Not good when roads are a bit damp, not so bad when the roads are very wet, can’t even pull away with hardly any throttle without wheelspin so do not inspire confidence, they remind me of Pirelli’s that were fitted to my previous Jaguar Xj8, was like skating on ice if the roads were damp, especially if salted. They were on the car when I bought it and decided I will buy new 19” wheels and try different make of tires, I wouldn’t buy the Nankangs

RoadX RXMOTION 4S rated 40% while driving a Mercedes Benz
Driving on mostly motorways for 8000 easy going miles
After being convinced by my local tire agent to try these, I've had nothing but problems.. three of the tires bubbles on the side walls and had to be replaced under their lifetime accidental warranty...Three weeks ago in France the offside rear delaminated at 80 mph....I'm lucky to still have a car. Euromaster in france said the tire was substand chinese rubbish and replaced it with a pirelli p zero... Back in the uk I had the other side checked and the tire was found to be also delaminating on the inside edge...Replaced that with a p zero aswell...The car not only has been transformed but my fear from this happening again has been restored...I will never buy Road X again...They are rubbish in my opinion and should not be used on high performing vehicles..

Ovation VI 388 rated 60% while driving a BMW 330D Touring
Driving on mostly motorways for 600 spirited miles
Went through a set in less than 10000km. I drive alot but these just worn so quickly i didn’t even i time to replace them. Worn down to the cord. Yes they cheap and perform really well for what you get. But they not worth it if you drive more than most people... Mind you i drive super aggressive, but i had front tires last three sets of rear tires. But of all the tires i gone through these where the worst. However they did perform the best also. Only other negative is they might be a bit to soft when corning. I bit spongy but does mean better comfort.

Michelin Power Cup Evo rated 81% while driving a BMW E46 M3
Driving on mostly country roads for 2000 spirited miles
Very capable tire that suit’s both my driving style and the e46 m3 chassis and the only tires I have used that are better than the cup 2 evo are the pz4 Pirelli pzero and the pilot sport 4s. Pz4 is the best in the wet and the 4s are slightly better in a mixture of wet and dry conditions. The wear of the pz4 is the biggest downfall being twice as bad as the 4s

Falken Azenis FK510 rated 93% while driving a Ford Falcon FGX XR8
Driving on mostly country roads for 20 spirited miles
So I purchased these 20,000kms ago on the back of your recommendation and have not been disappointed.
I've got a big modern RWD S/Charged Manual Australian Sports Sedan now with 600hp, any tire would struggle with the massive torque numbers(900Nms), these are no exception, more of a GT tire than a track tire, I drive with T/C on and the rubber does a stella job of holding on, accelerates well, loads of grip in the front (245 35 19s) when tipping it in. Back end is good, nice and progressive as the limit gets exceeded, quiet on the Motorway, roars a little on the coarse chip B roads in my area...not excessive.
Just Racked up 20,000kms , the fronts have about half wear left, the backs with having to tame the beast is about two thirds worn. I've dropped the recommended pressures and have gone for 38fr and 36rr, found that the rears were wearing in the middle from over inflation or heat.
Epic in the wet, stable at big numbers... Love the tire...Bang for your buck nothing comes close in my mind.

Cheers from NZ
Blair

I have Kuhmo 275/39/19 96y fitted to my 2005 BMWE60 530d msport, I have just had to get a taxi home from Swansea to London because for the second time in 18 months I have had a blow out on the M4 whilst travelling at speed. Both times the tire has failed on the inner wall with the tire instantly going flat. A large section of tire has blown out approx three inches long with a hole that I could push my finger all the way in. As I said earlier this is the second time and both times it has been a inner wall failure. Has anybody else experienced this problem and do they know if Kuhmo are aware of this possible design fault or am I just unlucky?

Uniroyal RainSport 3 rated 74% while driving a BMW 330i M SPORT SALOON

Just driven on (starting to go slushy) show for the first time since buying these tires and they are exceptionally good. Almost as good as proper winter tires.

Wasn't expecting that!

Driving on mostly country roads for 500 average miles
Waited until these came into country after watching your video about them "Top 11 Tires for 2018 Summer).
Glad I waited and such a good price. Was looking at MPS4s but in NZ they are about $2k fitted. Saved about NZ$700 fitting these.
The Tire Guy over inflated them so were quite harsh until I went with Factory PSI settings (39 fr and 41rr)
I've got a Large RWD Saloon making 500HP and first thoughts that with the wide 3.5 grooves, it might be hard getting HP down to the road. Once the mould release wore off AND get up to Temp...not too bad. A little Understeery at first when tipping it in on throttle, but then grips and behaves nicely.
In the wet, these things are epic, traction down is out of this world and tracks nicely through High Speed corners.
Previous tires were NEXEN SU1s
Not sure of wear as have only had them on 3 weeks. If I manage 30000kms out of them will be stoked.
Thanks for suggesting these tires, recommending them to anybody who listens.
