Fitment comes from each tire's manufactured size list, and the sizes are the ones drivers reported when they reviewed. Check the size, load index and speed rating on your own doorplate before buying - a size a previous owner ran is not always the size your car left the factory on.

How long do tires last on the Audi S3?

Across 17 end of life reviews from Audi S3 drivers, a typical set of tires was worn out after 15,000 miles. Half of all worn-out sets lasted between 8,000 miles and 20,000 miles.

Distances are self-reported by drivers whose review marked the set as worn out; figures are medians, so a single unusual report cannot move them.

Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport 225-40-18 Audi S3 40,000 miles October 22, 2026

The Goodyear SuperSport tires deliver immediate feedback and precise handling. The best part is how they completely changed the behavior of my S3 3‑door: it used to push from the nose, but with these tires the front end finally bites and the rear becomes playful.
The car is so much more fun to drive now.
They’re also almost indestructible, especially compared to Pirelli and Michelin (which have their own strengths, but durability isn’t one of them).
I really enjoyed these tires and would absolutely buy them again — unless Goodyear releases a new SuperSport.
Thanks, Goodyear. Great work.

Worst tire I have ever had, Got rid of them after 3000 miles, was advised that they where a very good performance tire, I would not put these on a push bike,

I use my P-Zero as my summer tires on dedicated light weight rims. My winter tires are Continental ExtremeContact DWS-06+ for all season performance. My car is a light weight Audi S3 with AWD in the St. Louis area where winters are mild and relatively minimal snow. Both tires are fun to drive and provide for plenty of performance, though the Pirelli's are the better tire in most warm weather conditions and seem to be keeping up with Conti's in wear, noise, and comfort. Lastly, I can confirm the "Tire Review test results" matches what I've experienced in real world driving.

A little bit noisier on the road but beat my previous pilot sport 4S on traction. Excellent grip in the dry with minimal slip on a Stage 2+ Audi S3 even when launching.
Do not get the non 'S' variant - was fitted by accident at the tire shop, had to return them within 48h, they have terrible grip.

I live in Peak District and commute daily over Snake Pass into Sheffield using PS5 in summer and XC 2 Nov / April about 60k total. R8 road for commuting in summer but a challenge in winter ,temp and snow/ ice wise, hence needing All Season. ( Nov / April). Interested in what Michelin were saying about 3 Sport being = 2 PS5 and Alpine 5. So invested in a set July 23rd. Scrubbed them in for 200 miles. Fast roaded em some 500 miles to date. Temps of 12 c to 25 c. Wet and dry, Result in my humble experience ... At fast road speed in both wet and dry they are as near as dam it the equv of PS 5s at above temps. Only a track day could possibly show a difference. I think Autum / Early Spring were I see temps, over The Snake Pass of - 2c to 10c these new 3 Sports will have the edge over PS5. I assume due to Mountain Snow Flake Snow / Ice performance will be as per XC2s , ie. More than enough in U.K. Jonathan Benson talked about more sporty and responsive. He is correct. But they seem no more noisey or uncomfortable that the CX2s. Time will tell re milage but I honestly think they are as near as PS5s in the summer as to be in real terms the same. And for a price difference of only a couple of Beers a corner lol . WHY NOT . Hope this helps those considering.

Do not buy these if it rains in your country. No grip at all in the wet unless you granny it around, dry grip average at best. DO NOT BUY

Grip is out of this world in the dry and wet and they're so sharp on the steering, however the wear is really bad. 1500 miles and a track day and both fronts were done. Don't use them on track.

I bought 4 brand new Pzero and put them on my 2017 S3, I can assure you that those tires are dangerous, I felt it from day one. Specially when cold.
Traction is poor on both wet and dry. I don't recommend those tires and sure will not buy again.

Audi S3 Cabriolet 2016. Had these on the car when I bought it, they look the job but found the dry grip was ok but a bit squirmy when under pressure. The first time it rained these showed their true colors! Awful bordering dangerous, they left my rear end sticking out on a roundabout even on a quattro S3. My first job is to get these off and replaced with some Michelins or Bridgestones. I can't believe how bad these are in the wet. DO NOT buy these, you will need the grip at some point and you will not have it.
