I've loved them, I've done over 3000 of my miles around Europe, on mountain roads, autobahns, small Italian towns and on the Nurburgring, tires performed fantastic. Confidence inspiring and they have lasted so well compared to my last set of 4S's the trade off of less grip compared to those is very much worth it in my opinion.
The only downside if I had to pick one out is they do start to slide a bit when hot, they lean towards understeer but then again so does the 1.5t estate car they're on!
Maxxis AP3 XL 235/40 R19 96W all-season tires (ETP00238200 identification number) I bought them 3.5 years ago, after 45,000 km the tread came off. The tire fell apart.
Apsolute monster of a tire, wet, dry or snow!!! I bought NA2 version (Porsche homologation) for my Alfa Romeo 159 and handling is ridicolous, as well as grip, dry or wet. Fully recommend!

I've had the pleasure of using both their summer UHP and winter ones offerings, driving them right down to their end of life, and I can confidently say these tires delivered on every front.
From the moment I put them on, the grip was exceptional. Whether it was scorching summer asphalt or icy winter roads, the Tigar UHPs consistently inspired confidence. Cornering felt secure, and braking was always responsive, giving me peace of mind in all conditions.
The handling was equally impressive. These tires made my car feel nimble and precise. Steering inputs translated directly to the road, providing a direct and engaging driving experience. Even as they wore down, the predictability and control remained, which is a testament to their quality construction. It's rare to find tires that maintain such composure throughout their lifespan.
And then there's the comfort. Despite being high-performance tires, the Tigar UHPs provided a surprisingly smooth and quiet ride. Long journeys were never a chore, and road imperfections were absorbed with ease.
Having driven them until their very last mile, I can wholeheartedly recommend Tigar UHP tires. They proved to be durable, reliable, and simply a joy to drive on, regardless of the season. If you're looking for tires that offer excellent grip, precise handling, and a comfortable ride, look no further!
P.S.: Both the summer and the winter ones survived each 30k km on Bulgarian roads, which are well know to be a disaster
Bought them because of the price, 70 euro/tire size 225/50/17. Mine are made in china, idk if this is a disadvantage or is a lower quality than the ones that are made in other country.
Personally, pretty good tires overall, good grip in both dry and wet conditions and good stability. Tires are a little noisy, but it's not that bad. Not that confortable as expected, but very decent for their price.
Fitted the x ice snow as they were one of few nordic winter tires available in my size. The other one was Hakkapeliitta R5. I have had hakkas before with great success, but decided to go for michelin this time because of better longevity, since these alfas are known for eating front tires. The x ices was 1250 euros fitted on car.
Where i live there are either tarmac or ice. Rarely snow. And the snow get to slush, and then ice again. So that is the conditions these tires are tested on.
Asphalt, dry or wet. Very reassuring, and calm feeling trough the tires. Good grip, with early signals when pushing the car too much. The general comfort and rolling is great....maybe a little bit more noise than i expected. More than pirellis fr's for example. But i think that is to blame for the knobby, tractor like tread pattern of the x-snows.
Ice.... terrible! I don't know if that is just me being used to studded nordic tires, but even the studless hakka r3 i remember was better on ice than these. I suspect that has to to with harder compound. That is just not for michelin, but a trend that seems to be in almost all tires nowadays. Maybe because of high torque cars. I miss the really soft rubbery tires for like 10 years ago. I have a car with bf ko2' and they are just a little bit worse than x ice snow on the same hill.
I know x ice snow was best with r5 in ice grip, so don't take my opinion for granted, but at least on black ice of western norway, there was not much grip to be found.
But then the snow came, at least for 2 days. And wow! I understand the name x ice SNOW. The pattern just paks down the snow and grip. No need to explain. Other than a 4x4 volvo struggled where i drove straight up a snowy hill with fwd.
So these tires are great at snow and overall driving on asphalt. Wet asphalt are my 80% driving so that is good. The only drawback are grip on ice. But maybe my only option for that should have been the x ice north 4 studded. But studless tires is because i don't have to pay stud taxes in the cities.
After 300 miles the tires settled more in i can feel. Will try on ice again.

In Jan 2023 , south africa factory no treadwear rating ,still better than Michellin, Bridgestone, Hankook.No wonder on drivers rating its 2nd only to VREDESTEIN.As of today i paid 1 for 3900 mur while Michellin was 7000+ mur and Hankook K125 was 6000+ mur.driving on those is like driving on gel
My first review on this site of this tire was september 2016, now after 6 years they have reached their tread indicator.Time flies,the v12 evo 2 was well worth the price especially now that i cant find any good tires for my car.No hankook available December 2022, i will keep driving till i get good options for the tires mid january 2023 n onwards .hoping to get Dunlop, Hankook or Vredestein.sadly none of them are available. PRIMACY 4+ are 7500 mur in mauritius and still have bad treadlife and reviews after primacy 3 ,4 n now 4+
