Landsail LS588 UHP - The tires are quite soft when driving when measured with the correct tire wind.

I have these 255/35/R18 for the rears and 234/40/R18 for the fronts. My car is not particularly powerful but after changing to these tires, I was surprised that the rear tires could squeal from stand start. I never could have done this previously, the car being an auto tranny and all. And now I have learnt how to drift, as any little throttle input on bends during some rain will cause my car to over steer. It's fun but bloody dangerous in real world applications. Let's not even begin on aquaplaning, I had to drive about 50km/h during a heavy downpour along a highway as the car was aquaplaning, not on puddles but large volumes of water on the road. I have never experienced this before. Maybe this is only applicable to fatter tires like mine. But I must say, comfort is good and the tires are wearing out evenly really well. And these things are really really cheap. A quarter of the price I had to pay for entry level UHP tires from known brands. But the reason I'm writing this is that I'm getting it changed tomorrow with 70% tread left. I can't take it anymore. Btw, I'm gonna get some Michelin PS4s. Enough of being a cheapo and risking my life on it.

I was in two minds about buying these tires but have been pleasantly surprised. Nice and quiet, predictable handling from the front and back, and great overall grip

If you drive in a moderate fashion you will be more than pleased. They are not a performance tire but do everything well, especially given the price.

I took my XF across Germany through some pretty bad rain conditions throughout and the tire performed well at motorway speeds. Even with considerable standing water at 60 - 70mph there was no hint of aquaplaning.

I would definitely buy again. They are not a million miles off a good mid range tire and the construction quality is high for a budget tire.

Had these on my car when i bought it, one fitted 20 months ago the other 13 months ago, was getting a vibration of them, thought it was balance problem, only to find the drivers inner tire was pretty much a full bulge in the side wall, and the passenger had 2 bulges too. I dodge potholes etc so would know if i hit a bad one to cause this, so these bulges have appeared from normal driving on normal roads

Very dangerous! I drive a a5 v6 tdi quattro so can't say bout grip but find the bulges seriously worrying especially since the tires only had 8-9000 miles on them

I am a tire snob and have always kept to the brand of tire that were on the car eg Pirelli/Michelin etc. I bought a two year old Audi Q5 from an Audi dealership and didn't pay much attention to the tires, assuming they were high end.

When it come to replacing them I found they were Landsail LS588, something I wouldn't have bought by choice. The truth is though that they have been absolutely fine and considering they are 50% the cost of an alternative I've stuck with them.

Two years on I have no regrets and will buy them again. The fronts have lasted 1 year and 35,000 miles so can't complain

Bought these after world reviews said it was a strong buy, this had a stage 3 chip 300 + BHP now back to 231 with 500 nm on tap in standard form both versions was no sweat for these tires the only thing was they were a bit slippy from brand new fitted around 60 miles later they were fine.
Why buy expensive when these are around, stay in rural Angus but not had deep snow yet but it handled 3 inches like a winter tire last March no problem also very surprised in black ice performance, tire wear around 1mm for a 530d that's insane!
was £60 fitted per corner now £67 and I don't care why buy worse performance for over twice the price final point is, winter tires maybe slightly better but unless telling your insurer its going to cost you 2/3 times more so why bother it's not worth the hassle guys also noted cars with small width don't seem to review as well as fast cars with wider rims so bigger profiles its a great buy! Bad thing about good reviews means prices will go UP!

I have just diagnosed a noise like a faulty wheel bearing from my recently purchased Audi Q3 was in fact coming from one of its P Zero tires.After much internet searching I decided to try these Landsail UHP tires based on great reviews and affordability.SO glad I made the choice;the car is much more quieter and relaxing to drive on ALL roads.Turn in,grip and handling seem to be just as good as the P Zeros when I have been pressing on at speed in my big Audi.Hopefully they will be good in the Scottish winter conditions as other people have mentioned.Also no tears if I happen to destroy one accidently.Excellent!

I replaced the Michelins on my Citroen C5, and boy: what a difference! The Landsails are quiet, comfortable, good value! No longer my car follows the wear tracks and road markings on the road surface. The negative is a little vague steering response, not a big issue though for me. No balancing problems. They seems to last long.

I was reluctant at first for these tires.
Due to financials, I decided to try them out.
Besides, I had searched it and had good reviews.
I was surprised.
My old tires were continental sport conti 3.
The landsail clearly better.
A rising brand much better than the "brand name".
For wear it is too early to talk but I recommend it unreservedly.

Had these tires fitted 2 weeks ago and immediately noticed the difference! Much improved handling, comfort and noise level than the previous Michelin Pilote Sports that were on the car. Most of my driving so far has been on motorways (in the fast lane!) but I haven't yet had to drive in wet weather. Based on my experience so far, I would definitely recommend Landsails.

Read many reviews before buying and having them fitted at Halfords in Leamington Spa. The tires have worn out at just 12,000 miles of general use. I rarely go fast and I only carry myself or my partner. I keep an eye on my tire pressures regularly but had an MOT and in 8 months of owning my Ford mondeo 2011 2.0 tdci the tires need replacing already. Not only have l now have to find another £200-£300 for 2 tires again so soon but Halfords over tightened the locking wheel nut so hard it busted my locking wheel nut tool and Ford's master key!! It doesn't need to be that tight!!
