Volkswagen Golf 7 TDI Tire Review Highlights
Terrible at noise. Overall grip is good bit tgis tires are so loud that i will replace them after 2000km driven. My first and last hankook. I will stick with Conti or Goodyear

Having a big rolling resistance, the car tilts on curves pretty bad. The material from which the tire is made is soft and that is why the car tilts quite strongly on the curves. Compared to the Michelin Cross Climate 2, Bridgestone tires are better on dry asphalt and wet, but overall the car does not have a good driving feeling. It requires checking the pressure quite often considering that all 4 lose pressure simultaneously. The car overall feels rough on pits and bumps, but soft in curves. Tires are sensitive to alternating temperatures warm-cold (the climate in Romania this summer in which one day is 35 degrees and the next 25 degrees). They have always required a much higher pressure than one that would be comfortable for driving on bumpy roads or with potholes. With this in mind, the suspension of the car suffers in the long run due to these tires. Overall, I do not recommend for the driving experience, the overall feel of the car, even if on dry and wet are good.

Only had these tires for a couple of weeks but what I immediately noticed was the noise. I changed my winter tires with these expecting a more quite ride. What I got was a noticeable perceived increase in noise levels. They sound like they are easily 3db (double the noise) above my winter tires in loudness. I haven't tested it with a db-meter since it could be a difference in tone as well. Otherwise they handle well and I feel confident with them on the roads.

I bought this tires for a small car that doesn't drive often thinking they will be all right for the use. I was very wrong. When new they are okay, but after a year the wet handling was horible, as well as the breaking distance. Would not recommend to buy to anyone, as the are quite dangerous to drive after two years old

3 years into the tires, i can say great grip in the wet and dry all from 5C to 40C degree weather.
When driving agressively, the sidewall flex is quite big, so you feel you're losing grip while youre actually just flexing the tire sideways. Besides that great handling tires, have nothing against them, will most likely buy again. on about 4-5mm of tread after about 25k miles, which is pretty good for my driving style.

Great tires, amazing grip in the wet and great grip in the dry. Very good in the snow until you get to about 5mm, then it's not good enough for the snow conditions where i live (good enough for most situations, wont get traction on steep hills anymore). After 3 years of driving (1 aggressive, 2 moderate years, 25k ish miles) the tires have 4.2-4.8mm left. Am probably going to fit them this season and use them until the end of summer, havent decided on it yet tho.

Very good tire overall. I have only one minus for this tires and that is that one of them after 30.000km became very loud, first i thought that my well bearing is bad but after changing to summer tires noise was gone.

Im on my second set of Dynamo tires and overall I’m extremely satisfied. Very good tires in all weather conditions and they seem to last longer than the more expensive brands.

Very good tire. Great on wet and dry. Best wear ever. I did 65.000km with this tires on 2.0 tdi Golf 7 Variant (185Hp, 430Nm). Sure i did swap tires from rear to front and back every 10-15.000km to male them wear even. I will buy again.

According to Hankook website these tires are usable for around 50000 miles and 7 to 8 years old. Unfortunately these tires were fitted as orriginal equipment to my golf reg oct 2017. Tires manufacture end August 2017. At 4 years old 22000 miles mot failed because perished. Sent rear tire back to Hankook under complaint as less than 50% worn.
Their technical dep t rejected claim as it was over 4 years old and they therefore rejected claim. WARNING IF YOU DRIVE A LOW MILEAGE CAR BE VERY WARY ABOUT ABOUT FITTING Hangkook tires . High mileage cars are ok as they will be worn out before any fault shows.

Had these tires on for a while, the difference I noticed straight away when putting these on was that I had lost a lot of comfort. These tires are extremely hard and allow every little stone you go over to be felt inside the cabin.
In terms of handling, grip and wear, you cannot fault them. However those things do not matter when you’ve lost this much comfort. Lowered and running on 19s which really doesnt help lol.
