Fitment comes from each tire's manufactured size list, and the sizes are the ones drivers reported when they reviewed. Check the size, load index and speed rating on your own doorplate before buying - a size a previous owner ran is not always the size your car left the factory on.

Gripmax SuperGrip Pro Sport 225-40-18 Lexus IS200 10,000 miles September 11, 2026

so far so good. A bit noisy, tread wear still lasting after 10k miles/ 15 months. Ride is supple, handling is ok during spirited drive.

Sava Intensa UHP 2 225-45-17 Lexus IS200 50,000 miles August 10, 2026

Comparing to other ones I was suprised with quality and durability. I was driving even on Nurburgring with them, of course they are not sporty tires for such price, but still not bad. After that I was driving with screw in one tire from Stuttgart to Zakopane 1000+ km on autobahn and nothing happened. In service I repaired the tire and still driving to this day (2022->2026)
I did more than 80k km with them, its very good result. Never been unsure about driving in wet conditions, long roads and shitty roads like in ukraine for example with big potholes.
Noise levels are acceptable in comparsion to Yokohama.

Kleber Dynaxer HP5 225-45-17 Lexus IS200 1,500 miles March 15, 2026
Due to a blowout of both left tires caused by a pothole, I had to move the right rear tire to the left front and replace both rear tires.

I chose Kleber Dynaxer HP5s because we have HP4s on our second car and we're happy with them.

In this case, I'm quite disappointed. The difference in handling compared to the front Assymetric 6s is noticeable in terms of drift, and it's very apparent that the rear tires take too long to follow the behavior of the front tires, resulting in considerable imprecision at high speed. I think the main problem is that the sidewall is too soft compared to the GY tires.

As soon as I can, I'll put four GY Assymetric 6s back on.

Kormoran Kormoran UHP 225-45-17 Lexus IS200 25,000 miles May 12, 2025
RWD Lexus IS, mostly fully loaded, mostly highways, 40k kms in 2 years.

These tires were a great improvement over Nokian Hakka Blue both in terms of noise and ride comfort. I used both models for touring and city, and I liked Kormoran much better.

The tires are lightweight. Despite the thin sidewalls they are quite strong against potholes. However you might want to put a little more air into these tires for better response.

The grip is great on wet and dry when new. After 15-20kk kms, however, they start to feel more rigid and prone to slipping. There was no significant wear. Grip on wet was still good, but not so much on dry. On polished Balkan city roads ABS could kick in while stopping from 20km/h and flooring the pedal (city traffic situation). Although, no problems on high speeds even in cold weather slightly above 0 C. A bit controversial behavior, though, still predictable if you learn it. This tire is just not the best choice for hot countries with tarmac roads. Tarmac roads in hot climates are naturally more slippery than in colder climates. This tire works better on grippier roads.

Overall, I like this tire and might consider buying it again, especially, given the price (better brands cost 1.5-2 as much).

If you are into aqua planing, tail sliding and having your family car unsafe then these are the tires for you!! Wet grip is horrible and found myself while driving like a granny still losing grip and sliding at roundabouts, don't even bother cornering in the wet!. I have these on 255/35/18 on the rear and 225/40/18 in the front, my worn out Pzero's handled better and regret the day I purchased them, I guess you get what you pay for. Tires have bad longevity as I have had them for 6 months and the fronts are worn by about 9mm, under no circumstances purchase these tires.

Low cost alternative to Pirelli P Zeros or Michelin Pilot Sports. When up to temperature, they are pretty sticky on dry. Amazing water clearing on wet. Can't really say about the wear as I've only done 10,000km on the tire.

I guess you get what you pay for, these have a terrible sidewall and as such cause the car to track all over the place, especially under braking. Easily aquaplanes at 100km/hr and the feedback is quite dead. I have them on the front of my Lexus IS250 which is not a powerful car but I'll be changing them before long as they aren't very safe.

I had a Max Trek that was only 3 years old and the tire separated AND there was a gap developing in the tire side. When I took it to a tire retailer he said this was about the cheapest quality tire you could buy for this car (Lexus hybrid). I replaced the front tires with Michelins. The rear tires (2 years old) will follow soon.

I would not recommend these tires. Develops buldge and becomes asymmetrical within 10k of use. It was so bad to the point that my car would steer to the left on a straight road despite after doing toe adjustments. Usually you get what you pay for with tires. The lowest i would go for tirebrands (popular in Brunei) are the GT Radial Sportactives or the Kumho Ecsta, which are pretty good tires in my opinion from a quite reputable brand. Please think about the safety of your family and others when buying tires if you have the means to.

Star Performer Winter AS 215-45-17- Lexus IS200 1,500 miles January 12, 2021
I must say I bought them new for 45euro each, and not for normal street driving, but to have fun with my rwd is200. So i put 2 of them in the back, but they are much more grippy than I expected. Dry handling is very good, very hard to make the lose traction with the 155hp the is200 has, very stable. Also the wet grip is incredibly more than I expected, they perform as much as makes no difference as a premium tire. To lose traction you have to kick the clutch. Also snow and ice performance is more than average, I made a roadtrip to the mountains during a snowstorm and they performed very good, managed to get moving under all conditions, and they feel safe on any surface. I was expecting some shitty unsafe, sliding around with these chinesse cheap tires, but they managed to wow me. In the front I run some Nokian wrd3 from 2016, so i can say that they are almost the same level of grip over all surfaces.
