I have them for 2 years now and its alright for a budget tire but not going to buy it again the noise is bad if you like to take corners at higher speed they start to slide and you fell every bump in the road Im going for better tires next year I will still run them until I put on my winter tires and leaving them at the tire shop
Drives quite well, haven't got a lot of others to compare with. Can be a bit finicky in wet conditions in a front wheel drive car under acceleration.
Noise is OK, can be a bit sensitive in the morning after standing all night long where it feels like they have flat spots (pressure is 34 psi on all four), but after some driving that disappears completely.
This year I decided to replace my original Michelin CrossClimates in the front axel, since the CCs started to crack at the edges, as many have reported. I also wanted a more winter biased tire, since I live in a Nordic country. I chose BP 6 after reading many reviews and because they seemed to have a good price/performance ratio. I haven't had a chance to drive a lot, so I can't give a very detailed analyzes. My first impressions are pretty good. There is more grip on snow and ice compared to CC. However the tire is softer than CC, but also wierdly bouncier. Since I drive a rear driven car, I don't feel comfortable inflating fronts more, than rears, but this is something I am considering in order to make the tire more drivable.
Bought these tires last year for my 2015 520d, id never buy them but my tire shop was selling them for really cheap with little bit older dot (2023), seemed good for ice and snow, rain is ok but during heavy rain i didnt feel much what the tires were doing, on autobahn when you first hit some snow on the road going over 80kmh the car would wiggle a bit but then it was stable, comfort and noise are ok but there is a really annoying noise from the tires above 130-140kmh.
Overall i would not recommend them as they cost as much as hankook or falken, but the polaris 6 seems to have a lot better reviews than polaris 5 so it might be a much better tire.
They are still above 8mm tread after around 5000-6000km so wear is good.
