I received these Apollo tires as a birthday gift from my nephew. They were lightly used—only about 2,000 miles on his previous car before he sold it with winter tires on.

I installed them on my family's Opel Meriva A without expecting too much. For context, I regularly drive different company cars equipped with all the premium tire brands, so I have a solid benchmark for comparison.

Frankly, these Apollo tires dropped my jaw. They are right in line with premium brands, offering great driving stability in both dry and wet conditions. They are remarkably comfortable and low-noise. How can a tire from India be this good???

Tires are recommended for daily driving. Dry grip is good, Wet grip is acceptable for normal use. Tread wear is minimal. Bit noisy, but not disturbing but I had some quieter sets. Good choice if you want a cheaper tire without too much compromise. They not reach the premium brands quality, but it's a good choice among the price competitors.

Tires came standard on 2025 VW Virtus GT. Apollo tires are appalling in the wet. Dry grip is adequate, moderate road noise and excellent wear. Had an Aquaplaning incident and vowed to never use apollo tires again. Swapping out to Michelin PS5 in 225/45r17

I drive mostly highway and in all conditions I have found the tires to be quite reliable. Having a RWD car, it will only skid minimally when turning fast at 50 km/h in rainy conditions. Done 55.000 km so far and still 4.5-5.0 mm tread left. In regards to noise I found them to be fairly silent although the last 5.000 km I seem to hear them more but what can I expect when they have already outlived other tire brands. Considering buying again. Only minus is they seem a little stiff in temperatures -5 C and below so limit the spirited driving then but driving a normal commute feels safe and the handling stays great. Perfect for mild winters with moderat snowfall.

Originally fitted in December 2020, made as DOT 2520, now covered a reasonable mileage on first the front and now on rear, 24,900 miles in GB on mixture of UK roads, which are now very rough with many defects and potholes since we ran out out of money, about the Apollo's, no complaints, wear rate is very good and still 5.8mm average left of original 7.5mm of new tread (hope to get 40k+ out of them?). Comfortable and not too noisy that I can tell. Sure footed in the wet but I never push it in those conditions. Good dry grip. Looked to buy two more in 2022 could not find anywhere. Maybe no longer available in UK or replaced by other models of tire at this size. Copes well with this 'heavy' electric Hybrid chassis. Fitted Khumo Ecsta's to front and they are a much softer compound that wears twice as fast as these Apollo's.

Comfy tires. It's a good choice for daily drivers. Reliable in wet and dry with good feedbacks. Predictable behavior on its limits.
