Completely worn out after 5,000 miles on the rear axle of a fwd car , rear would slide around in the wet to the point of it was pushed you could drift around a round about like you put McDonalds trays underneath.

Great street car with R1Rs, grips with confidence. Never driven on a track but swiftly and safely on back roads.
Car is well balanced, understeer and oversteer are very controlled even though I prefer oversteer, the tires are predictable. I have never been caught out on them. Relatively quiet tire on the 510 but more so on my 2001 Miata. Miata has suspension changes as well but as everyone knows, lacks power. With R1Rs the ride is very comfortable and the cornering is excellent with a bias toward oversteer. I don’t drive either car in the rain so can’t comment on wet grip. Depending on how heavy your foot I would expect 15 to 20K miles on these for both my cars.

Very lousy tire when wet. No confidence when driving in the wet.
I have 195/45/15rs on my Miata and they handle good in dry and wet I can be drifting in the rain and they will catch any time I want them to I have no troubles braking with them ether I have driving in the snow the past few days no chains and no problems I cruise thru snow and ice with out any problems they remind me of toyo proxies tr1s but with better traction in the rain and snow
BEWARE! Not great in my size! I tested many, this was the worst "sporty" tire...these will ruin your car sportiness. I selled them and replaced with Toyo TR1 (front) and Laufenn s-fit eq+(rear). Both transforming the car literally.
Have these for winter driving on my turbo’d mx5 mk1. I run ad08r in the summer. These handle the power great when the road surface is cold and give lots of confidence in after we weather conditions.
Had these fitted to my Mazda2 when I purchased it. Very cheap tire and performance reflects this. Tire had maybe a third of its life left so my review will reflect I drove this at its worst.
Dry grip okay. Better than other budget passenger tires. Could get some speed of of it but with great difficulty.
Steering response is vague and inaccurate. This combined with lack of feedback at the limit made these quite tricky as there was no real warning when these would let go. I would get understeer and snap oversteer with harder cornering. Luckily Mazda's stability control kept me safe.
They were very greasy on damp roads but as they were near end of life this is to be expected.
Comfort was very good for a performance tire. They were quiet and compliant.
All in all this tire is probably for someone who would normally buy the cheapest tire possible and call it a day. They really feel like passenger tires masquerading as performance tires. Fine considering price point but don't expect this to be a cheap alternative to PS4 GYA5 etc.
