Fitment comes from each tire's manufactured size list, and the sizes are the ones drivers reported when they reviewed. Check the size, load index and speed rating on your own doorplate before buying - a size a previous owner ran is not always the size your car left the factory on.

Changed from t005a to this tire. Very comfortable and quiet tires. I just need a nice touring tires in my Corolla. Does the job well. Don't expect it to handle like a UHP tire.

The tires are really good. The puncture resistance is great at the end of the tires life on an average every tire has nearly 2-3 punctures. I have also used them in multiple rural areas where there is a risk of tires being damaged but these tires outperformed. Now, i am using Advan db of the same tire size and in 6 months i got 6 punctures on 2 tires. The tread wear is quite good and the tires did not lose grip even at the end life.

This is my 2nd set after 45.000 km using the oem tire dunlop sport max 050.. handling is good, braking is better than before, and i feel more safe driving in wet condition with my new goodyear than my previous dunlop.. but noise and comfort is only average… not better than my previous oem dunlop

Continental MaxContact MC7 225-45-17- Toyota Corolla Altis 310 miles April 7, 2025
Vehicle & Tire Specification: Toyota Corolla Altis 2021 (FWD sedan)
Tire Change: Switched from Dunlop SP Sport Maxx 050 to Continental MaxContact 7
Size: 225/45R17
Tire DOT: Week 32 of 2024
Installation Date: 31 March 2025
Driving Conditions: Urban commuting, highway driving, occasional long trips
Weather Conditions: Dry and wet

User Review:

After switching to the Continental MaxContact 7, the most noticeable improvements are in noise reduction and wet grip.

Noise Levels: Excellent performance on asphalt and at highway speeds. Compared to the previous Dunlop Maxx 050, cabin noise is significantly reduced. Even on rougher surfaces, the tire suppresses road noise effectively without producing harsh resonance.

Dry Handling: Steering feels more responsive and precise, with strong cornering grip. The sidewalls are slightly on the softer side, which enhances comfort without compromising stability—well-suited for a comfort-oriented car like the Altis.

Wet Performance: Very impressive. The tires maintain solid traction on wet roads during rainy days. Braking is stable and predictable, and there's no noticeable loss of grip during turns. The tread design evacuates water efficiently, giving great confidence in wet conditions.

Comfort: The MaxContact 7 offers a noticeably smoother ride. It handles bumps and small road imperfections well, reducing overall road harshness and improving ride comfort, especially over long distances.

Although I haven’t clocked high mileage yet, the initial impressions are very positive. This tire strikes a great balance between performance, safety, and comfort, making it ideal for daily driving with some occasional spirited use.

Verdict:
The Continental MaxContact 7 is a well-rounded high-performance street tire that offers an excellent upgrade for everyday sedans like the Corolla Altis. Highly recommended for drivers who prioritize low noise, confident wet handling, and everyday comfort.

I've been using these tires for about 10,000 km now on my 2015 Toyota Corolla Altis, I'm really dissatisfied regarding its lack of comfort when it is pumped to its recommended pressure. You can feel every road imperfections with these and they are very loud. Worlds apart compared to Continental CC7. Also it tends to skid even on slightly wet road, its crazy. Won't buy it again.

Dunlop SP Sport LM 705 205-60-16- Toyota Corolla Altis 6 miles June 23, 2024
Bought them 3 months back for my Toyota Corolla. All smooth and fine for the first 7,000-8,000km on motorways and then went on a trip up north in mountains. These tires seriously lack grip even on dry roads. Going downhill was scary business and they struggled for grip in sharp turns. I know they are not made for any sporty drives but used Advan DBs earlier and they were perfectly fine in similar situation and speeds.
I live in Pakistan and roads are properly bad in my area but the wear and durability on these is good. Drove them over the rougest of surfaces without any issue - never had a puntucre so far but they made me miss Advan DBs when it comes to grip. Dont go for them if you enjoy driving on bendy roads or have occassional adrenaline rushes.

Too much noisy tire. Covered 54000 kms on this. Too many punctures every now and then. Steering got extremely hard. Replacing them when one of the tires got a bulged bubble type thing on the inside. Extreme hard tires.
