Totally decent tires for the price. I drive a fwd car so it’s important to switch between front & back each season. But ofc the tires in the front wear out first. I'd say that if you have a fwd car you can use these.
A lot of people are skeptical of chinese tires, but let me tell you that I've seen tires like these get a hard beating on bad roads in third world countries and still last for a long time.
A very good experience so far, most notably on the motorway where they are quiet and absorb imperfections very well. I’ve driven them in the VERY wet and they are also very confidence inspiring in these conditions too. In the dry they are good but maybe lack a small amount of feedback when compared to a summer tire. Snow and ice haven’t been here yet but looking at other reviews they are top notch in this segment! And purely in the aesthetics department, they have a very nice tread pattern and with some shine on the sidewalls they are very attractive too.
After a few years I'm happy to report that Ive since moved on to already different cars and also tires.
Nevertheless, I sold these tires to a friend of mine and he kept driving them for quite some time.
He drives quite a lot, both highways and cities. Most noticeable was how little they were worn, the cracks in the sidewall did not develop further.
Would I buy them again? Probably not as for myself I replaced them with Kumho Ecowing ES31 and they were a far better fit in every category.
Overall - good for the money at the time.
Absolutely fantastic tires with extremely low rolling resistance yet still excellent grip. It practically powers our Volvo V70 through fast corners, and on the highway, it reduces fuel consumption by about 0.5 liters per 100km compared to the previously fitted Premacy 4 tires, which were showing their age (10+ years old).
Surprisingly good tires, both on dry and wet roads, I've never had a problem with braking, skidding, or aquaplaning. I can only recommend them.
TW401... This tire is ok on dry frozen asphalt, not too bad at a thin layer of fresh snow, but in everything else (wet, dry with warmer temperatures, a bit more snow like 2cm+ and it doesn't matter if it's wet snow or dry) it's garbage. 0 confidence compared to Hankook, Yokohama, Sailun, Falken, Maxxis, Taurus(Kormoran)... 2nd worst i've ever driven, absolute worst was Westlake, but that was like 10 years ago. You can think if it's so bad, maybe it will last... – It doesn't, it's below average. You pay less and you get way less than expected, one of the worst value for money. This is my experience, yours could be different.
I would NOT recommend the Asymmetric 6 if you're looking for a tire that will last for more than 1 year!
I bought 4 brand new A6 tires early this year replacing my old Michelin Primacy 3. Before buying them, I read up on multiple tests and reviews, and the A6 finished on top in most of them. Sure, the A6 has excellent handling, wet- and dry grip, so nothing to complain about there.
My issue is that the tires have terrible longevity.
I don't know what tread depth the tires have from the factory but I would assume they have at least 6 mm. Now, I drive very gently. No excessive accelerations, no heavy braking and I don't haul any heavy loads. I simply use the car to go to work every day back and forth. So when evaluating the wear after 8 months and about 8000 kilometers, the tread is down to 3 mm. This kind of wear was nothing that I expected from a renowned manufacturer such as Goodyear. Sure, some would argue that the A6 are categorized as sport tires with a softer rubber blend. But they are not pure sport tires. They are marketed as performance tires for premium cars, even compatible with EV's. (If you own a Tesla, you would probably need 4 new sets a year with the A6).
So if you're looking for tires that will last, together with equal or maybe even better performance metrics, then buy something else! I surly will go back to Michelin.

Avon ZV7
245-45-17- Volvo V70D5
11,000 miles October 30, 2023
Replaced all 4 tires on a Volvo V70 D5 with Avon ZV7. No issues at all with how they drive, both with a driver only or 4/5 passengers & a full load. However, after just 6 months & 11k miles I noticed the front tires were wearing at a significantly faster rate in the center than the outer edges & rear tires. Having had them checked at a tire center, I was advised that they are wearing in the center due to motorway driving. Centers 3mm, inner & outer edges 5mm & rears 6-8mm (hardly worn really). Tire pressures have always been monitored. Having read other reviews, it appears that these Avon's have a soft tire wall which seems to struggle to bear the weight of a heavy diesel engine. The tire depot had no other advice than to just let them wear out & replace them! Really disappointed, as expected to get 20k miles out of the fronts & a lot more from the rears (I may achieve this). Previous Good Year, although more expensive, lasted 20k+ on the front. Wouldn't put Avon's on a diesel car again - will look for another mid-range alternative.
After reading the reviews I decided to buy this tire and I am extremely happy with the choice. The tire feels very grippy, wet handling is also very manageable. The only negative thing is about my choice in tire size, as now I would like a wider tire. However, given the 225 width its still a very confidence giving tire.
These tires were a part of a rim/tire combo when I was shopping for rims, since they were included in the price (brand new), decided that I'll take them. Was skeptical at first, but immediately was surprised how quiet they are both at low speeds (city) and higher speeds (highway/motorway). Now, in terms of comfort they are really good, but those few times I've pushed them a little they haven't responded well, slight understeer, low confidence in the corners, might be due to my car being a heavier Volvo, but on the other hand when emergency braking was involved the ABS didn't kick in and they handled the situation very well. All in all I would say that they are more of a comfort, relaxed driving style type of tires and if you're not looking for anything more then they are the way to go. Wear is minimal, but then again, not that many kms covered this summer, so difficult to judge just yet.
Notable mention that after just this summer (2021) they have started to crack at the top of the sidewall, so that's a bit of a concern for the longevity aspect.
