Vauxhall Monaro VXR Tire Review Highlights

Driving on mostly country roads for 8000 spirited miles
Got these on my Monaro VXR . They wear evenly and grip really well in the dry. Seem to ride on top of the water in the wet even at legal speed limits.I've done 8000 miles with these on and theres still around 4mm left so i'm very happy with them. They are very reasonably priced and dont feel as bad about smoking them now and again on the tarmac as I would with the price of their competitors

Driving on a combination of roads for 20000 average miles
First set of tires on this car and was very impressed. Got 20000 miles out of the rears and fronts still have a bit more left in them. Had one huge fishtail experience at very low speeds on a muddy/wet road when the tires were new and from then on drove gingerly in the rain. Never did trust them in the wet. Dry grip cannot be faulted for a tire of this price. Always felt very planted during summer driving. Always gripped good even on hard take offs. Aqua planing does seriously destable the car even at low speeds. Probably buy them again but gonna try a different set next time.

Brilliant. Admittedly I only have these on the rear at the moment so when it comes to 'grip' it's all about how low down the loud pedal is.

Good tire though - looks good and has rim protection - always a must!

Only can compare to the relatively worn P-Zero's that were on before, but so far a thumbs up. Had them on the rears for around 700 miles. A much more progressive break-away in the wet and dry and now able to use WOT in the wet in 2nd with no wheel spin in a straight line. Going to get them on the fronts next.

One negative, experienced an cyclical motion on a gentle uphill curve at ~110 leptons. I put it down to overly tall treadblocks moving around as the tire is new rather than soft sidewalls as it is gradually reducing and now pretty much gone.
