Ford Puma Tires

Many people here had overwhelmingly positive reviews about these tires. So I am absolutely shocked how underwhelming they felt in my experience. Maybe I’m doing something wrong but the traction control light goes off pretty often when I give them a good floor, and the car starts going to the side. Never happens under dry condition with my other tires. They’re also a lot more prone to slipping when it rains. They’re fuel efficient, give good road feedback, they’re not noisy, it’s all comfy - but the consistent lack of grip that I’m otherwise used to, has really frustrated me.

Okay in the dry but on a 155ps Ford Puma horrendous in the wet. Wheel spin with medium acceleration and serious work the abs in the wet. Worst ' quality ' tire in 40 years of driving , continental i used to praise your tires. Let's hope the Q version is better.

An excellent all round tire. I have these on both my Ford Puma ST and my Toyota GR Yaris.
I'm surprised by the longevity of the PS4S tire. I've done 25,000 miles in the Puma and the treads are down to 3.8mm (F) and 4.8mm (R), so still plenty of life left.

In the summer of 2023, I bought my first performance car (Ford Puma ST Ultimate, 200hp 320Nm). Since I still needed winter tires, I started looking at all Tire Reviews' tests to investigate which seemed to be the best choice for me. I was looking for an all-rounder, one that scored above average in all areas. I live in Belgium, so scoring well in wet conditions was a priority. For me, this tire feels super. Loses practically nothing of its sporty performance, excellent grip when accelerating and cornering.
Due to circumstances, I also drove for a few days in dry and sunny weather (20°C) and even then I was impressed by this tire. I will repurchase this one immediately!

I had used ug8 before this tire and semperit is better than goodyear. I have been using all type of condition on winter and warm weathers, handling is always very good. Price of tire is very good. I strongly recommend this tire for everyone.

Tire are gone on the inside, the Pumas tend to do this sooooo no big surprise there but they were only good for 1 year something like 20000-25000 km's, surprisingly good in the wet, hardly any scare with this tires on in the dry they were also good but not great
Overall a good tire but keep in mind that it is a very very heavy wear prone tire.
Would buy again simply because for my car's tire size I either go semi-slick or there really isn't a much better tire than this one

Just bought a second set of two tires for the front on my Puma, had them on the back since january and no problem what so ever, did about 8k km's and it shows minimal wear tossed out a set of continental ContiPremiumContact 2 that were really worn out and the tires feel brilliant.

Do not buy them ! My nearly bolt yokohamas parada s2 gave me much more confident and safe ride than new toyos ! Very poor for fast cornering, but in wet condition really dangerous. Buying them was the big mistake.

These tires suit the Puma very well and give almost as much grip in the wet as in the dry! The only negative point is road noise and personally that doesn't bother me. I would always stick with these for my Puma.

I had a set of these on my fiesta 1.25 with no dramas whatsoever so when it came to upgrading my Pume, I expected the same. Boy was I disapointed. These are plain lethal in the wet and average in the dry. The ride was filling shakeing and jarring. At one stage at 30mph on a bend, I hit a small rut and the tire came off the rim and dam nearly killed me.
Changed to Toyo Proxes and they were fantastic
