while driving a Mercedes Benz GLA180
Mercedes GLA200 AMG line (front wheel drive) that was factory fitted with Bridgestone Dueler HP Sport (MOE) tires, not my choose of car but it cost me 1/3 of the used retail price. I normally use Michelin Supersports and Pirelli P Zero Corsa UHP tires on higher performance cars.
I was a bit sceptical when I discovered MOE was Mercedes run flat system, I expected the car be harsh over bumps and skip on bumpy corners like my previous experience with BMW E90 Bridgestone run flats but was pleasantly surprised.
On the French motorways to the south of France, I found the car very stable and easy to place at speed (up to 80 mph officer). I have on occasions pushed the tires and found them predictable wet and dry but never tried them on snow.
After driving 40000 mainly relax miles (it’s not a sports car) on the tires I replaced the whole set with the same. Bit more expensive but the tire are well matched to the car, even tire wear and no tramlining even when worn to 2.0 mm, consistent behaviour over the life of the tire. No experience a puncture on these tires, so cannot comment on flat running. The tire rim saver does not prevent damage, even with the lightest accidental touch of the kerb.

Got them to replace a torn conti ecocontact 6q that came fitted from factory. Fitted 2 on the rear axle because the other contis still have tons of tread life left, so maybe my review is not 100% accurate. I will just focus on things that I can feel.

First, grip. I feel this tire is slightly better than the conti in the dry. The car understeers less and feel more surefooted when changing lanes at high speed. Wet grip is fine, about the same as the conti. I think for the price, this tire performs extremely well. I haven't had any instance of traction control coming on when braking or taking a hard turn (I've had some with the conti).

Braking performance is about the same both in the dry and wet. Then again, I still have the contis in the front, so I can't really give a fair and accurate assessment.

The biggest difference I can feel is comfort. The giti is noticeably noisier than the conti, especially in the first 100 km or so. It became less noisy after that, but still not as quiet as the conti, which is the quietest tire I've ever had. The ride is also noticeably stiffer, not as plush as the conti, but still acceptable.

Another thing is rolling resistance. I'm getting less range with the giti in the rear. Not a deal breaker for me because I drive in the city and charge the car at home, but something to keep in mind for anybody considering this tire.

Overall I'm quite pleased with the giti, though when it comes time to replace all four tires, I would be getting something better.

Absolutely awful tire. I don’t drive fast but even so, these tires give little confidence.
The cracking and dry rot in these tires is insane. Only done 4k miles on them and they are rotting away rapidly. Supplier doesn’t want to know. Will never buy an Avon tire again

I’ve always purchased Goodyear and Michelin on the cars I’ve owned, so I thought I’d give Pirelli P Zeros a go on my Beemer M135iX. First impressions is the tires have transformed the cars handling in dry and wet conditions for the better, they look great on my car too.

I’ve done about 3000 miles since fitting, mostly on country lanes and motorways, the wear seems to be good.

Came as delivered on a 25 plate Hyundai Kona 65kWh N Line EV. NW England.
Was warned by the sales team at dealership they were awful. Thought "How bad can they be?" Very bad is the answer. Terrible tires; given 3k miles to convince myself otherwise but no good.
Struggle in the wet to grip; aquaplaning on wet motorway lethal.
Cornering on wet country lanes dicey.
In the dry in Sport mode can't put the power down pulling onto M6.
Noisy and skittish on bumps and potholes.
They are probably good for stopping a barge hitting the canal bank. No place on a powerful car. Removed in favour of Hankook 4 seasons; instant transformation.

Very unsuitable tire for EV. Especially on high performance EV this tire can be very dangerous on the road. Too soft side compound, making it very easy to deform. Only way to reduce a bit the result on the road is to inflate 0.5bar more than what the manufacturer says.

This is an updated review after 5000 miles. I have the 6Q variant of this tire fitted to my car. After 5000 miles, the tire is still very comfortable and quiet. Dry grip is quite good, and dry handling is okay. Not great but adequate for daily driving. Wet grip, on the other hand, is horrendous. I encountered aquaplaning quite a lot in the rain, so I had to slow down quite a bit. Driving 60 mph in the wet feels really unsafe and jittery, and that’s in the straight. Wet braking is terrible. ABS kicked in a lot even at relatively low speed. For that reason, I will not be buying this tire again. I would gladly sacrifice a bit of comfort for safety. If you live in the area that rains a lot, avoid this tire.

These came as standard on my 25 plate Hyundai Kona 160/64 N Line EV.

They are horrible, using sport mode to get up to speed joining the A1/M62 in dry sunny conditions they were very skittish and jittery and felt like they were really struggling to put enough grip down.

Even at slow speeds you could hear too much noise from them.

Maybe I have spoiled myself with using Michellins and Pirelli all season tires for years?

I have the 6Q version of this tire. It came fitted on my BYD Seal AWD (not listed here, so I chose MG since it's also a chinese car). The standout quality of this tire is definitely comfort. It's very compliant and very, very quiet, probably the quietest tire I've ever had. Road noise is almost nonexistent. But of course, being an eco tire, performance is not the priority. Dry grip is fine when cruising at up to 120 km/h (75 mph), but not great when the car is driven spiritedly. It feels jittery, especially combined with the car's soft suspension. Handling is okay given its soft sidewall, but just doesn't feel grippy enough to inspire confidence to push the car in twisty roads. I never lost traction during acceleration, which is pleasantly surprising. In the wet, it feels quite slippery and wet braking is not as good as in the dry, but acceptable. Steering feels lazy and slow, and road feedback is minimal (it is an EV). I've only clocked 5000 km on them, and there's no noticeable wear yet, but I notice the tread is pretty shallow for an eco tire. In conclusion, buy this tire if you're after comfort and fuel economy. I wouldn't hesitate to put it on a family car or minivan. For cars with decent performance, I would look elsewhere.

Fitted to AWD Ford Kuga & it's our practice to fit new tires to the front & rotate the old front tires to the back. We do mostly city driving with average trip length of 10-20km. in 20 months the tires wore down to 3mm on LHS & 5mm on RHS from new while the old tires now on the back are still at 6mm each. Legal is 1.5mm. That's atrocious!
