Overall good, but really nothing stands out about this tire. Reasonable wear, very good in dry, confident in wet, average in snow.

Have been using these tires on my BMW i3 for the last two winters and have been absolutely delighted with them.
I must stress I would never normally have considered Fulda tires, however the choice of winter tires available for the i3 is extremely limited. When I purchased these neither Continental or Michelin had any stock available so given how comparatively cheap these were I decided to give them a go and could replace them if needed.
Genuinely I’ve been amazed how well these have performed. In summer I’ve driven the i3 both on its stock Bridgestone tires and Michelin e Primacy, these fulda tires are more than a match for both!
The i3 retained its sharp precise steering feel and the grip in all weathers has been faultless. We predominantly have wet weather throughout the winter and the i3 has hardly troubled the stability control at all even on full throttle starts merging onto main roads. I’ve never had the ABS trigger (other than on ice) while fitted, I do frequently brake very strongly to help clear the disc surface of corrosion (caused by the strong use of regen braking by the i3).
This seems to be a contrast to lots of the reviews on here, perhaps the extremely narrow width of the i3 tires are better suited to the fuldas tread pattern.
I consider myself a fussy tire purchaser, who is happy to pay extra for the security offered by premium brands, but these Fulda tires have totally exceeded my expectations. Had I paid the same price of Michelins or Continentals I would still be extremely happy with my purchase, the fact they were over £300 cheaper for a set makes them a genuine bargain. Will definitely purchase them again once the performance starts to deteriorate but at the moment they are as good as the day I bought them.

I would never buy this tires again , first winter was amazing , 2nd winter was bad, now 3rd winter is worse than summer tires , the rubber got so hard on them and they have no more grip.

If the tire is between 0 and 5 years old, I can recommend it. From the 5th year onwards, the tire deteriorated for me. After approximately 40,000 km and 7 years, 4 mm of tread depth remained (the first indicator on the tire profile was reached), which is a good mileage. Negative points from the 5th year onwards: loss of grip in wet and icy/snowy conditions; rapidly hardening rubber (despite underground parking); summer tire-like ride (direct steering feedback, harsh impacts, hardly any damping effect from the tires); when going over potholes, the rear axle became unstable, i.e., loss of grip and poor rolling characteristics.

I bought these tires as they were all my local tire company had in stock - they have turned out to be extremely good, far better than my previous Nokian WR D4 tires. They are amazingly quiet & seem to offer plenty of grip & low rolling resistance. They're also enjoyable to drive on a twisty road - I was always conscious of having much narrower & higher profile winter tires before (summer size is 235/35/19, so quite a difference), but with these, it's easy to forget. They're even effective outwith the normal "window" for winter tires (I drove over 600 miles in 2 days, with the temperature not dropping below 11c).
In short, although these are a "mid range" tire (& one I wouldn't have bought if I hadn't needed them in a hurry), I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, they have surprised me with how good they are! I haven't experienced proper winter conditions yet (just a few heavy frosts), but impressive so far.
Yeah, I don´t know really where to start...This is the second season I have these tires and today I am going to get rid of them. These tires are so bad that they are almost dangerous to have on a car. I have had some rubbish tires on my Kia Pride that performed better than these Fulda tires . The tires are fine in the dry, they perform OK, nothing special and they are super comfortable and not noisy, BUT in the wet or on snow, they are dangerous. Very unpredictable, in almost every corner there is understeer, no matter the speed. I have tried to raise and to lower the pressure of tires...Did almost 100KM just testing to see if something would help...I am out of ideas and I have to get rid of them today
Very good grip and driving in wet roads. Very good in poor snow, also in wet snow, but not very good in ice roads for braking and no good grip in ice. Noisy when speed more than 100km/h, but good handling and road feedback.
Bought them because the reviews were good and I they were pretty cheap while still being a tire made by the Dunlop/Goodyear group.
I'd like to specify that my "reference" as a summer tire is a Dunlop SportMaxx RT2.
The ride is pretty good, I have 18" rims but the car is pretty comfortable and this doesn't change with these, they may be even better than the summer tires. Noise levels are good too and the typical noise that winter tires make (typically when you're slowing down and stopping) is not particularly noticeable.
Handling is really safe, maybe not the most fun but the car is always easy to control and predictable. I had a few times with my summer tires (when I was really pushing the car) where the car decided to go sideways when the "partially deactivated" ESC decided that he didn't like me making the car widen up the trajectory with the throttle; such a thing never happened with these tires instead. The front is always going to be the one to give up first. They even saved my ass (helped by the ESC, fully activated fortunately) when I took a damp and greasy, badly designed, new roundabout, too fast; ESC started working like crazy, the car kept it's composure and trajectory and I got out of it effortlessly. (Plenty of people crash on that roundabout since day one, the guardrail is full of dents and scratches).
Grip is really good too, especially while accelerating. Even on damp roads in second gear most of the times the tires don't spin, and I've got 150PS. I suppose the sipes really do their job.
The best part? Snow and Ice traction. It didn't snow much last year in southern italy so I decided to go find some snow because I wanted to test them. I found a few snow covered roads and it almost didn't even feel like I was driving on snow. I found then a really steep incline inside the city that, since it was in the shade and was really steep, none had dared to drive through; I went up and found out that either I could only go right, which was a dead end, and on the left was a "wrong way". Stupidly, I stopped and suddenly realized that I shouldn't have,"this thing is too steep, I'm gonna get stuck" I though. Oh boy was I wrong; with the help of the electronic differential despite the snow and ice I started going up with minimal wheelspin, made a U turn and went back downhill without even triggering the ABS. That was so satisfying.
Can't comment on wear but didn't seem excessive.
Honestly I can't really find any big fault in them, especially for the price. If you're looking for a safe tire for the winter they're a good choice, especially if you're gonna drive through lots of snow and ice.
