Fitment comes from each tire's manufactured size list, and the sizes are the ones drivers reported when they reviewed. Check the size, load index and speed rating on your own doorplate before buying - a size a previous owner ran is not always the size your car left the factory on.

I previously reviewed these a couple of years back shortly after having them fitted to my car. This is an updated review to report on wear. I am really disappointed that after only 15,000 miles, I have to buy new tires due to extreme wear on the shoulders. Still plenty of meat in the middle, but the shoulders were worn down to the cord. Wheel alignment was done at the point of fitting on a Hunter machine, and a repeat alignment for my new tires showed that it wasn't much out. I have also kept on top of the pressures religiously. I suspect this is the reason they are cheap, seems like a design flaw to me. Attached photos show the wear pattern on my rear tires. These haven't worn quite as badly, but aren't far behind.

l've been using these on my base model RDW E90 320d 2011, and ice and snow traction is amazing so much so l never needed to mount chains (they're mandatory) but in dry/wet these tires are awful, super spongy feel and feels like the car is riding on foam, l wouldnt trust these going more than 165km/h. l guess l'll keep fun driving during summer and for winter i'll just have fun by not getting stuck in snow since we got a lot of it here in Kosovo during winter (at least in my town where l live)

Update end of life review 15 July 2025.
One pair of tires, currently at front have reached the legal limit and had to be replaced, photo 1,2. I could not source the Turanza and I ended up with efficient grip performance. I fitted them yesterday so no much exposure for comparison.
I read the other poor reviews for turanza and I have been astonished how it is possible. Is it just the law of probabilities or something else. I believe I have covered over 50000 miles ,as below no issues. The specific pair was made in Hungary. I still have one pair on the rear axle photo3,4.
Never had a problem- over the past few years I drive in Canterbury poor roads with potholes. I have not experienced any puncture or tear/crack for a period of 6 years. What can you ask more for a tire.
I have had another set of tires turanza from Costco on a Citigroup wife’s car. They developed cracks and one of them burst likely from contact with a curb and under inflation down to 22 psi at some point.
Finally the only thing I could only ask the same exact set from the same batch and factory which is almost impossible.
I wish you all safe journeys!

My BMW 320d came with run flat tires but the driving was very stiff with a lot of noise and vibrations.
I call BMW ans questioned the type of tires that my car came originally.
It was non run flat 225/55/16R, the company that I bought the car paid for 4 new Bridzestone turanza.
I drove he car in weekly basis from Aberdeen to midlands and then from midlands to the south cost.
I drove any condition and time of the day and I never experienced any problem.
I really filled safe in any condition and also on rain and wet.
During the winter I was using winter tires - Michelin alpine since the BMW is dangerous driving on snow with summer tires.
I had only one flat, actually one small screw from one of my garage projects penetrated into the tire, I removed it after hundreds of miles and plug it.
Best tire ever.
I have tested other Bridgestone types in my old E30, michelin, vredestein and others but the specific tire appears flexible, safe, reliable, longlasting, trustworthy.
I was running the tire at the mid and higher pressures even when it was empty.
This is my first review for car tires.

Bought these to replace a mix of Goodyear and Michelin economy offerings that came fitted to my car. Early days yet, so can't comment on wear, but so far I'm very pleased with them. Can't really tell the difference except they may be a little noisier. Driven sensibly on a mix of town roads and motorways. No issues in the wet as I've had with el cheapo ditchfinders in the past. For a double 'A' rated tire at £93 per corner fully fitted, they seem good value for money.

Michelin Primacy 4 205-60-16- BMW 320d efficient dynamics 21,000 miles November 1, 2021
I bought these tires in May 2019. If I remember correctly, Michelin advertised them to last 20,000 miles. At the moment of writing, November 2021, I have driven 21,000 miles with them and have less than 2 mm tread left on all 4 tires. Right now, I can feel they are at the end of their life. :D The performance of the tires was really good on both dry and wet surfaces. I used them mostly on UK's roads, but also took a trip around Europe with them for around 5,000 miles.

I drove thoses tires in the Runflat version. I was so surprised with the confort! I had non runflat before and the difference was barely noticable! I have done 15.000 miles with them before selling the car. The thread left was : 5MM front, 4MM rear. The tires have done also a few laps on the Nürburgring and Spa-Francorchamps. The tire have handled really great and I am surprised with the high milage they would have done.

These were fitted on my car when I bought it, they had about 6mm of tread (they were made at the start of 2019). After 24000 miles I must say I'm impressed, they are now at 3mm. They have dealt with all sorts weather really well and there has been no noticeable loss of performance. The only criticism is that there are nascent small cracks appearing in the side wall. I would buy them again as I've got lots of miles out of them.

These tires have been surprising me every day since I got them fitted to my BMW F30 320d EfficientDinamics LCI. What I liked most about these tires was by far the comfort levels. They absorb the bumps better than the Continentals and Bridgestones I have tried and they are also very quiet. Also, my fuel efficiency seem to have gotten a bit better since fitting these tires. As dry/wet performance, for a tire that is so good in the snow I have to give it first place. The feedback is good, the car does not seem understeery, nor oversteery and it is very predictable. Overall, this is still one of the best tire choices for winter driving especially in the sizes 16-19 inch. The price performance can't get any better and these tires don't make compromises.

Bridgestone Weather Control A005 205-55-16-V BMW 320d efficient dynamics 3,000 miles March 12, 2020
Having worked for Bridgestone for almost 9 yrs untill 2012 I wanted to try Bridgestone's latest 4 season product. Now reviewing a product is tricky, it all depends on what you had before and what your personal feelings and preferences are about certain characteristics of a tire. Currently I'm driving a BMW 320d EfficientDynamics model, 163hp/380Nm on the rear wheels. I bought the car with Goodyear EfficientGrip's on the front, and Conti PremiumContact's on the rear. All tires were RunFlat models, so extremely stiff sidewalls to cope with punctures. Ride comfort was a bit harsh sometimes, but handling like a sportscar. Mostly moderate highway driving for work, doing 1000km a week. Tires lasted roughly 80.000km Then onto the Bridgestones themselves. I bought the new Driveguard ones because i wanted the runflat option. Your car needs a TPMS system for that though. I've done some 5000km now, tires are performing just fine. So far excellent grip in wet conditions! In dry it also seems to behave like a normal summer tire. They're not as ridgid as the previous runflats, so steering is a bit less razor sharp, but the comfort improved! Fuel consumption is slightly higher, but with this car i'm still averaging 5liters per 100km, so still very good. Havent tried them in snow or ice yet. Noise is pretty similar compared to my summer tires, only the frequency is a bit lower. Only with certain long exits on the highway theres this slight rumbling noise which hints you that you're driving something else than summer tires. So far so good! I can't say anything about wear yet, but as it's a 4 season tire, I expect them to wear a bit faster than average. So far, I'm very impressed by the wet performance! As for the review by the Golf GTD owner below here, mate, step off the accelerator because my BMW has similar power levels and I think they will last about 25k-30k miles...
