Excellent on snow, 30cm fresh powder is not a problem, 15 cm icy snow uphill also like a dream, but 4x4 helps. Had Alpine 5 last year and didn't notice any difference on traction. Didnt have any problems with gravel and mud in autmn. They go trough rain like butter. A bit jelly, soft ride above 20 deg cels, but that's expected. I am not a sporty driver, so cant say they are made for high speeds, but for mountain snow driving and skiing trips, i am impressed. Economy is fine.

I tested these tires on a hybrid AWD RAV4. The car was a rental; I work delivering cars and I drive a lot, changing cars frequently. I drove on a route full of curves and roundabouts at a brisk pace, and despite the car being tall and heavy, the tires were very comfortable, without compromising road grip. Of course, the steering felt slightly softer on turn-in, but the lateral grip was incredible, as was the braking. These are truly excellent tires in terms of price, safety, and comfort. If they perform well on a 2-ton hybrid SUV with plenty of power, they will be more than excellent for smaller, regular cars.
I bought 4 new Bridgestone Blizzak L005 tires at an authorized Toyota center in Novi Sad, Serbia, in September 2023 (DOT 1222) on Toyota rims measuring 225/60/18 and after 13,000 km, the first signs of significant wear of the tire sipes on all 4 tires to the level of complete wear were seen, with increased noise, vibrations, significantly longer stopping distances and instability on the road, especially in the wet, not to mention snow and ice. The frame, shock absorbers and brakes were inspected at the official Toyota service center and the findings were in order. I filed a complaint, but it was rejected even though it was within the warranty period. I don't know whether I am more disappointed in Toyota or Bridgestone.
