Fitment comes from each tire's manufactured size list, and the sizes are the ones drivers reported when they reviewed. Check the size, load index and speed rating on your own doorplate before buying - a size a previous owner ran is not always the size your car left the factory on.

Federal SS595 SUPER STEEL 215-40-17- Mazda 323F 2.0 Sport 10,000 miles December 15, 2012
I put on the Federal SS595 already a year, this tire is suck.....
Dry day is acceptable but wet day is unacceptable totally suck I can say that is not safe drive when wet / rainy day. But the advantage is the tire thickness and the rubber hardness is extremely good. But the I will never buy again....

Falken ZE912 195-50-16-V Mazda 323F 2.0 Sport 1,200 miles July 12, 2010
These tires replaced Yokohama Advans all round and we've covered about 1,200 miles in them. They are quiet and comfortable and have never felt short of grip in wet or dry. With the Yokos we had severe tramlining; with the Falkens we have just reasonable feedback. I measured the tread depths and it looks as if we are heading for 15k miles out of the fronts (much better than the 10k of the Yokos). If I remember to swap fronts/backs every few thousand miles we should get 30k out of the set.

Yokohama ADVAN A460 195-50-16-V Mazda 323F 2.0 Sport 45 miles March 12, 2010
Actual tire model: Advan A460 - original equipment and we've stuck with them. Being soft and grippy they complement this car's very firm ride. BUT fronts last only 10K; rears last 5+ years but car failed MoT because of cracked sidewalls. (OK, I should have swapped fronts-rears.) These tires also split down the tread grooves. They're v. expensive and hard to come by. Now all four need replacing we're going for 185x55s and a different make (that's how I found this excellent site)!

Where this data comes from

Every rating on this page was submitted by a driver through the review form on this site, naming the car, the tire, the size and the distance covered. Reviews are checked by hand before publication, and the page rebuilds automatically as new ones arrive.

About the TR Score

The Tire Reviews Score rates each tire out of 10 using independent test results and the full body of owner reviews, so you can check a car-specific ranking against the wider evidence.

Who does the testing

Every test published as a Tire Reviews test is run by Jonathan Benson, who has been testing tires independently since 2007.
