It particularly shines on snow-covered roads with high traction and exceptional lateral grip, making it one of the most confident choices for severe winter conditions. The tire also performs admirably on wet surfaces, delivering short braking distances and stable handling. Its main compromise comes in dry conditions, where it requires slightly longer braking distances than some competitors, though this is typical for winter tires with aggressive snow-focused tread designs. The handling on dry pavement is still more than adequate for safe daily driving. At around €510 per set, it offers compelling value, especially for drivers in regions with regular snowfall who prioritize winter grip over ultimate dry road performance.

Given 88% while driving a Renault Zoe (195/65 R15) on for 2,000 miles
Great tire with good grip on compacted snow. Good on wet as well. As I drive electric I appreciate, that Dunlop Winter is very quiet tire. Great price as well. Set of tires cost me 250 euros.

Given 89% while driving a Opel Astra H CDTI (205/55 R16) on a combination of roads for 2,000 average miles
I bought it as a replacement for the Dunlop Winter Sport 5. This tire performs similarly to its predecessor in snow, but is also: better on dry surfaces,
better on wet surfaces,
much quieter,
slightly more comfortable,

and above all, thanks to the solid blocks on the sides of the tread, it provides really good cornering stability in both dry and wet conditions, despite its soft construction. It's a great tire, unrivaled at this price.
