Citroën xsara picasso Tire Review Highlights
On a Xsara Picasso, they provide safety in the wet, are comfortable on uneven surfaces, but are somewhat noisy. Greater rolling resistance increases fuel consumption somewhat. The softer casing provides more noticeable drift, and the reactions are predictable. A good tire for relaxed drivers looking for safety in wet and snow conditions.

I took a chance on some Kumho Solas 4S HA32 Plus tires for here in England this year, as a mid-budget all season tire with the 3 peaks symbol.
Don't confuse the Plus model with the previous HA32 model, these are a much improved design.
With all the snow, frost, and sub 5°c weather in England this 2024 to 2025 winter, my Kumhos been fantastic so far, irrespective of price.
As I don't have £600 to drop on tires at a moments notice, I chose the Kumhos 4S HA32 Plus.
I had to get rubber fitted quickly, as I bought a car with four mismatched makes. I think there were two Runway branded on opposite corners of different types. Not ideal.
Road noise is acceptable, and a much lower pitch than the mismatched set was, making them similarly loud but masses less intrusive.
Cold and wet grip has been the biggest improvement, with junction traction being faultless despite all the oil and diesel rainbow soaked tarmac.
Fuel economy has dropped by perhaps 5%, but the much more comfortable, quiet, assured, and smooth performance of the Kumhos more than making up for that.
Dry weather braking and steering is reasonable, but these aren't high performance summer tires, so feedback is muted but still present.
Mildly slippery mud and wet grass poses no issues for these tires, where before I would have to be very careful where to park.
Aquaplaning has been genuinely eradicated for me. The steering never goes light, nor does the back end twitch in a deluge.
I had tracking, balancing, alignment, and new valve stems done when I had the Kumhos rubber fitted, and wear has been equal and minimal over the last 2500 miles.
These aren't the perfect tires, but they offer everything a family car should need with good braking, acceleration, cornering, and performance in bad conditions.

I have been fitting the tires in the dimension 185/65/15 88T in Citroen Picasso for 2 months now and I have travelled 9000km. The driving sensation is very good, the information coming to the driver from the road complete. The tire has a very good ride feel similar to the top of the genre, the noise is more intense, but not annoying. It resembles the noise level of a worn tire. In terms of comfort it is quite good but not the best I have felt with other tires (continental, Michelin, Hankook), the intense irregularities you feel the most.In its driving behavior the tire is excellent. On dry roads the ultimate grip, stability on straights (150km) and turns and on good to very good roads. Braking took once on a bad road it worked very well, with a 70km stop without abs in about 20m. In the wet you do not realize that it is wet if you are moving on a moderate - good road surface with a speed of up to 110km. In addition to excellent grip braking although it didn't take anything abrupt it was in a very high result. Conclusion was a very good purchase, I confirm the international assessment tests on this particular bridgestone t005 and it is highly recommended.

Well what can i say.......
they're excellent
in pretty much every single way, i can't break grip even when pushing on a stupid amount round tight corners, ride confort is excellent and the car feels absolutely rock solid
I had pirelli cinturato P1's before this which were good but often felt slightly floaty, all gone with the Michelin they feel rock solid constalty and i feel very confident to push my car in all conditions
wet grip is absolutely phenomenal, zero aquaplaining, hardly any wheel spin etc
very very happy with these

Gripped very well in all conditions when new........
after 20,000 miles dry grip is very poor with screeching on roundabouts etc
wet grip seemed fine until last night when it just would not stop aquaplaining
they have 4mm on tread on the fronts and 7mm on the rears, however i will be replacing them this month as i have lost faith and will be going for Michelin CrossClimate+

First time I tried Avon tires, previously had Bridgestone all weather, A001, got 4 good years out of these. My car is very old so went for a cheaper tire this time as not sure how long I can viably keep this car on the road. The car has outlasted the front tires that is for sure. Excessive Outerwear on both front tires, more so on the near side. The car was tracked when the track rod was replaced. I would be surprised if the outerwear is down to this, and it is more likely to my driving style around corners and roundabouts. I got 19 months out of the near side, and 24 out of the off side (now needs replacing). Replaced the near side with the same ZT7. 6 months later the outer tread is 4mm inner 6mm. although when brand new the outer tread is notably shallow. Just to note the rear tires are doing well. I can't fault the tires for their grip. The 6 month old tire is going on the spare and both front tires will be replaced, not with ZT7, I do think these tires will be fine if you behave on corners and roundabouts.

Decent tires for the price.
Handle the road well both dry and wet conditions.
Comfortable drive but not the quietest.
Would reccomend 100%

Very good wet grip, almost no wheel spin on hard acceleration, and difficult to get abs to kick in during hard braking. Comfort is good as is noise
Handling is very good especially in wet conditions and the tires look nice.

just had these fitted to my Picasso, and the noise is dreadful, I am in two minds weather to go back and query this or just go else where, either way they have got to go. slowing down is like being on a tube train there driving me mad
