Westlake EU label data

7 of the 23 tires on record carry EU label data. These are the range's label headliners, using each tire's best available size figures.

A Best wet grip

1 tires reach EU wet grip class A. The highest scoring:

B Lowest rolling resistance

The most fuel efficient choice: 1 tires reach rolling resistance class B. The highest scoring:

70dB Quietest tires

The quietest tires in the range are labelled from 70 dB external noise:

Label values come from the EU EPREL database and vary by size - the figures here are each tire's best declared size. Wet grip and rolling resistance run from class A (best) to E; noise is the measured drive-by figure. A good label is a floor, not a verdict: the tests and rankings above tell you far more.

New Westlake tires

The newest arrival in the range is the Westlake Terra Legend SL399. 1 tires have joined in the last two years:

New Westlake tires, newest first
Tire Season On the market since TR Score

New tires take time to earn a TR Score - tests have to be run and owner reviews have to arrive. A missing score is a data gap, not a verdict.

Still a little early but so far is good just like any Dunlops or Continentals.

Excellent, great handling tough tires and very solid sidewalls. Good for 50000 miles for sure , superior to the firestone le3,s for example. Good all around tire.

Bought those new for a 3000 km trip across Europe.
2 persons, a cat, and a full trunk.
They are bit noisy, but no fear issues going 200 km/h.
Regarding cornering, by getting close to 160 km/h on a highway, there is no much confidence, and no secure grip on roundabouts around 60 km/h.
I have to say expected less from the most cheap tire out there, but since I ended up in southern Spain with hot summer, mountains, highways etc., I'm moving forward to a proper summer tire, specifically the Continental PremiumContact 7 which I'll describe my experience with later.

Those are good tires. They don’t excell but perform as an average driver can expect in cities and highways at average speeds from 90 to 130 km/h. They are quite durable and resist to rough terrain without any problem.

Have had these tires since 2019
And they do not disappoint. For the price ibwas skeptical but for a tire in this price bracket they punch way above. The car was daily driven for three years.. A mix of spirited driving and in traffic. And i am totally blowm away by its versatility. In performance driving they do not fall off with grip when heated up like other chinesium tires and while the side walls i find to be tough and give a ridged ride I find that as a "performance" tire it handles abuse really well. I still have more than 30% tread left on them but will be changing them due to age pretty soon. Overall a surprising bang for buck. Unfortunately where i am they are no longer available. I would purchase in a heartbeat once again

I have had this model of tires on 2 different cars, but this review is based on my latest car which has just had them replaced. I purchased these as they had received very good test results when compared to around 50 or so peers, especially Aquaplaning where they came 2nd beating several premium brand tires. In fact the only aspect they performed badly in was Tire Wear where they were just slightly better than Avon ZV7s on that aspect. My car is underpowered but is shod with low profile tires which means that it corners really well and there are a couple of tight motorway exits which I love to accelerate on to test their grip limits. Never did they fail me in either Wet or dry conditions even when they were getting close to their tread limits. I would definitely recommend them and would buy them again because they are such good value for money, but suggest they are best for the rear wheels on FWD cars to maximise their longevity.
