Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 Connect
WatchThe Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 Connect is a premium, trackday-focused summer tire that delivers standout dry grip, razor-sharp turn-in and reassuring stability at the limit. Across both driver feedback and independent testing it repeatedly shows strong track pace and consistent handling once in its operating window. It can be more usable in damp conditions than many expect from a Cup-style tire, but wet performance is not always consistent. The Track Connect system adds genuine value for track users by helping manage pressures and temperatures.

Questions and Answers for the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 Connect
Ask a questionI have the BMW M140i xdrive and I love to take it to track occasionally. The car has understeer problem and I am looking for a right everyday/trackday combination tire. Unfortunately the negative camber adjustment is challenging due to all wheel drive so need to address this with the right tire selection and wheel size. I enjoy your channel and really appreciate your guidance on the tire and wheel size selection.

Review Summary
Based on 8 user reviews
Drivers report the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 Connect delivers very strong dry grip, sharp turn-in and confidence at the limit, making it highly effective for track days and spirited driving. Several also note the tire is more usable in the wet than expected for a Cup-style tire, and the Track Connect system is praised for helping monitor temps/pressures. The main trade-offs are that longevity can be relatively short with hard use (track days or higher-mileage road driving) and the ride/noise can be firmer/louder on rough surfaces.

Areas for Improvement
- Tread life can be relatively short depending on use (track days/high-mileage driving)
- Firm ride and higher road noise on rough surfaces
