Peugeot 407 4 door sedan 2.0 petrol Tires

First time with this brand, Decided to give it a try since I didn't have Michelline Primacy for my specific tire size in my country. My previous tires were Primacy 4 and I have to admit, these tires feels pretty similar! Just a tad more grip and hardness feel on them. Feels very safe to drive with them and comfortable. I have alot of bumpers on the roads in my area and they are not very noticeable, handles them well. I have them only for about 2-3 weeks now, Will give an update when I wear them out some more...

Please for the love of God do NOT buy those tires. They are the most noisy thing ever, They can make a sweet french GT autobahn cruiser into a nightmare.

10k km update after 2 winters and ran as rears one summer. So mostly colder weather running. I drive up to 10-20km above the speed limit. The tire is comfortable and reasonably quiet. If you can hear a bit of noise and or feel a bit of a winter tire squirm, you are probably underinflated. No, it is not a UHP summer, it gets you no feedback and average dry handling, but still good and can be driven sporty if you adjust. As it is soft, it tends to stick to the road. Over 20C though, they get vague and I would change or only run them as rears on a FWD. It is brilliant on ice. Snow and ice is on par with a Firestone Winterhawk 3. Wet is good, grippy and uneventful. Little wear. Can recommend for the average Joe, who values his comfort as much the occasional Italian tune-up.

These are my very early thoughts on the tire, very preliminary and after only 4-5 trips to the shops. This tire is super comfortable. It irons, and I mean it, the road to a huge degree. Potholes and bad roads are much quieter and better damped. A sunken manhole cover, near me used to make a loud sound and shake the car if I did not avoid it. Not anymore. Massive difference to my previous Firestones. Good dry grip and reasonably direct steering, not sport/track tire crisp though. Very quiet and easy rolling. Will update once I got more miles on it.

Simply the best. Tires at the back have done 100k plus now and are still in acceptable state.

I have not had time to evaluate but they seem to be a well made tire. The UTQG ratings stamped on my 215 55R17 94V tires are: Treadwear 400 Traction A Temperature A. The EU tire ratings are E, A, 70, where A is wet grip, so I am a little surprised that the UTQG traction was not AA?

Good light tires with great grip wet, dry or snow once they had 200miles break-in. Road feedback is limited though, first miles leave you doubting the tire, but this improves once they break-in.
Comfort is improved, compound is on the soft side. Tires are much better than my old Falken ZE-912, although they are so soft I have my doubts as to durability. No doubt regarding winter grip, wet or snow - it is great and so is the tire. Dry is not bad either, but the tire gives you more comfort than feel for the road.

Like driving on ice. I can not imagine worst tire than this one. I have them for about 2000km and I am thinking of replacement, or asking my dealer to change them for Michelin, if possible. The sidewalls are so soft, they can not stand the weight of the car in corners in higher speed than 60km/h. Continental? Never again!!!

They came with my new Peugeot 407.
After about 4 years and no more that 35,000 kms, nobody (including me) didn't understand how come that a pair of Michelin tires can became so noisy. To be mentioned here that the wear was more than OK (about 8 mm). I went with the vehicle in the specialised workshop (Peugeot) and the mechanics finally accepted that the bad-bad noise came from the tires. I replaced them and now I can listen to the music on the road, again. After this experience I'll never buy Michelin.
