Opel Astra K 1.6 CDTI Tires

Bought them to replace a worn set of Michelin energy saver.
They are very comfortable and much more silent than the Michelin.
If you want to decrease the road noise this is the perfect tire for you.
It is not a performance tire by any means but you can feel when it's losing grip in the dry, they lose it in a linear fashion.
I am quite happy with this buy until now.
Will update this review after testing wet performance and wear.

I run these tires on my Opel Astra K Sports Tourer for more than 100,000 km mixed driving (motorways, roads and streets) and although I'm not calm and slow driver they still show excellent performance! Quite good dry braking, grip and handling, excellent aquaplaning behavior and wear resistance (after the above mileage the treads are 4mm). The small drawback is that they behave not so well on wet braking and grip, but still reasonable. As far as they are summer type, for cold, snowy and icy weather I recomend changing with winter tires or just staying at home with glass of red wine.

I had the tire for 65,000 km and during that time I was very pleased. At first the grip was great during wet and dry conditions and the noise was not very much. After about 45,000 km grip started to fall and after 60,000 km there was a humming noise from the front tires, and there was a pretty big drop of performance from the front tires creating lots of understeer (admittedly I never switched front to back so that had something to do with it).

I tested this tire both on dry and wet surface. Dry grip is amazing, my car feels very sporty on these tires. On wet, car is so steady and it feels like you are driving on dry road. Amazing tire. We'll see about wear, because I just fitted this tire 2 weeks ago.

I’ve had these tires for 2 years+. From what I can see dry grip is great and you can sense what the car will do and what the tires are doing in the wet the feel of the car goes down a bit but it is still good enough. Comfort is not the best especially in town but outside on motorways it gets much better without too much sound bumps is probably the thing that make it uncomfortable. With the miles I’ve covered I think they hold up good enough.

I have driven about 5000 km on the Fortuna Ecoplus 4S tire. All round a good experiences. The tire provides full value for money. If you have a general driving need and do not need to go on a skiing holiday. Fortuna all-season tires provide significantly better grip (autum, winter) on wet and cold roads in the morning compared to summer tires. A good choice if you do not want two sets of tires.

I do lots of kilometers per month to go work, 100 per day, mostly highway. My previous tires were Goodyear's efficientgrip performance on the front (arond 30k km wear) and michelin primacy 3 stock tires on the back (70k km wear). I have to say I noticed the car runs smoothier than before, and also less noisy. Good overall grip, and hope it lasts as long as goodyears. Very happy with the tire, seems to be a very good all-around tire. My sensations are better with these Bridgestone's than the previous Michelin and Goodyear's.

When you read the advertising material for this tire, you really expect a winter tire with a sporty edge.

I was disappointed.

The dry grip runs out early, but is well flagged and quite progressive.

The wet grip is lacking and Hankooks own "little brother" tire has far better wet grip. (Also evident in the EU labels)

To anyone wanting a sporty tire, try something else. To those who like this tire, try the i cept RS2 next time- It's better in all ways.

I have this on my car since march this year and after aprox. 9000km they have 1mm wear (from 6.5 when they come in new to 5.5 this week). I drove around 1300km straight (prague-bucharest) in 15h and they felt stable at 200km/h on highway. I would not buy again because of the low profile (6.5mm new).

Very good Tire but pretty noisy especially at speeds around 120-150. Noise really makes me think of changing tires.
