I use these on an old Ford Fusion diesel (every day) that had Firestones and Continentals. The car has a harder ride and these tire a absolutely perfect for it. They flex, and give a softer but controlled ride, but with a grip that's much better than anything I've had before. Basically I love these tires. It's a noisy car so I really don't know about their road noise.

I've been through various brands of tires on the car which were OK but the difference with these is amazing. With emergency stops the ABS hardly switches on (wet and dry) with super short stopping distances. They have a solid feeling with excellent road feedback but without being uncomfortable and the road sound is OK and not a problem. I didn't know that tires could be this good and make so much difference to a car.

These came as OE. At just over 22,000 miles on mixed roads, I've had to replace the front tires and will have to replace the rear ones in about 2k miles. Obviously a dreadful performance.

They were ok on dry roads, noisy on motorways and just felt 'thin', every little bump was registered. I wasn't too happy when, for the first time in a 40yr driving career, I skidded doing c.15mph round a lightly icy bend. I never felt exactly comfortable in wet weather, nothing I could definitively point to, just 'thin'.

I replaced these tires with Firestones (77K warranty) - the difference all round is very marked. I'll never bother with Hankook again.

These were fitted to my car when purchased with around 5/6 mm tread remaining.
Grip in the dry is adequate although nothing special.
However, grip in the wet is way below average and the tire has, on a number of occasions aquaplaned, in fairly moderate standing water.
The car's steering also feels vague in heavy rain.
The edges of the tread seem to be wearing quicker than the centre even though the pressures are regularly checked.
The tires have worn to 4 mm in around 3500 miles, so the rate of wear appears fairly quick.
They might be inexpensive to buy, but the fairly rapid wear rate may not be cost effective in the long run.
That, and the below average (dangerous?) grip in the wet would lead me to steer well away from these in the future.
Can't wait to get my winter tires on.
I'll get these replaced when I switch back to summer tires, even though they have a fair bit of tread left.

Used for 6 yrs/80.000 km. Not recommended for speed in rain, with small water accumulation on road. In such case, I almost lose control at 55 mph (60 km/h) on straight road. Good adherence on dry, last longer than average but a little bit noisy. Tough composite, only three flat tires in 6 yrs.

Came on the car when I purchased it new. They are good value, more noise then i expected, got good mileage from them, replacing them with Conti EcoContact 5.
