BMW 330CD Tire Review Highlights

Writing about the Bridgestone Potenza Sport given 59% (255-35-18-)
Driving on mostly country roads for 4000 easy going miles
Purchased these tires instead of Bridgestone potenza S001 never again these have been the worst tires I have ever bought in 25 years only lasted 4000 miles not even a year with normal driving conditions as a family car !! Avoid unless you have money to waste its put me off buying anymore tires from Bridgestone

Whoever loves themselves and their passengers will not fit this tire. In the dry, OK, but as soon as the roads get wet, either drive really carefully or just stay home. I bought a set of wheels with these tires preinstalled and figured they would be okay for a month until I have to fit the winter tires. Boy was I wrong. Extremely unpredictable in the wet, every turn was a journey by itself. All in all, do not recommend, spend a bit more money on a better tire.

Grip levels are fine. The biggest downside is tread life - I have put on about 15 000 kms on them, and they are close to done. Mind you the driving style is pretty normal, with 70% on highways.

I’m having the 4th set now , I did buy the first one after having previously continental conti sport contact 5 ( 4 years ago ) I’m driving often to Germany ( no speed limit motorway ) about the tires the wet grip it’s just great , cornering it’s also very good . What I’ve notice in very hot days under heavy breaking ( have massive breakes upgrade on my car ) the grip start loosing pretty easy , before the breakes upgrade that didn’t use to happen . On snow they are rubbish ( and it’s just normal keeping in mind that I have a rwd car and they are summer tires ) On the front they last for about 18k miles and on the rear for about 13k-15k miles . I will definitely recommend them . I’ve seen some feedbacks here 😂 they aren’t competition tires ore track tires . They are normal tires for normal use . If you have a car over 200bhp and think that this or any other tires will keep you glued on tarmac that’s not gonna happen( only tires that could help will be Michelin sport cup 2 , but if you afford them you won’t let negative feedback 😂) . Bear in mind that neither the F1 cars can’t break physics laws, and specially a normal car won’t go further .

Very grippy tires both in dry and wet. Roadnoise is high as well and lasted about 25 000 km. Overall good performance tires with too much noise and on uneven roads tends to affect steering wheel too much.

In dry conditions it's ok. But it wet... If you drive like a granny, it's ok. But if you push accelarator pedal harder, the DSC indicator starts blinking.. If you drive in corner harder, the car stability system starts to working too. Without stability systems on, I fear to drive with these tires in wet conditions. There's much rain in Lithuania, so it was a not very cheap, but bad choise for me..
