160/60 R17 Tire Review Highlights
Writing about the Pirelli Angel ST rated 70%
Used these on a benelli 500 (as a downgrade bike). I’ve used many different Pirellis on different bikes.
I will compare them to Avon sprint and Michelin road 2 (unfortunately discontinued) as they have been on the bike as-well.

Sort of like them, but do come with some issues, they have a decent grip in the dry and surprisingly amicable in wet conditions but nowhere near as good as the road2. Never had any proper moments with them but the Angel st’s had been the only tire to activated the abs on the bike numerous times dry or wet…

Feel and communication from them is very good, far better than the road 2 without being firm end of like the Avon at normal tire pressures. What does help with wear at the 1/2-3/4 profile (a common issue) is add few psi above the recommended helps this but starts to being closer to the Avons of being very firm without the positives of either the Road2 or Avon spirits.

Mileage was middling at best and nowhere near what could be claimed as leading.
Profile at the start is ok, stable but quite flat, life time profile wear was not terrible. With about 3mm left - will suddenly will get to the tread limit within a few hundred or miles.

would say for my case, they are best as a very average urban usage tire, dependable but unless it’s extremely cheaper than other tires with more positive attributes, there are better alternatives.
I wouldn’t buy again until I was desperate enough and I’d be wary on a heavier or more powerful bike.

while driving a Kawasaki ZR7S
Driving on a combination of roads for 3000 average miles
After the OE Bridgestones wore out, I replaced them with the Dunlop Mutants recommended for the ZR7 by several people online. They are a revelation! The Bridgestones were especially sketchy in the wet but the Mutants are sure-footed and inspire confidence, yet don’t seem to be wearing quickly. They can even handle some mud and grass. I recommend them.

while driving a Triumph speed twin 1200
Driving on mostly country roads for 1700 spirited miles
BrilIant tire on a dry summer's day, poor on a cold damp winter morning also easy to step out on rough damp tarmac under acceleration when exiting corners, very pressure sensitive. Keep for the warmer months and they are hard to beat.

Driving on mostly town for 10000 spirited miles
Keep in mind that these are motorcycle tires.
These tires are exceptional at this price point since they are almost as good as Michelin Road 6.
The dry grip and wet grip is exceptional, haven't slipped by accident or in any other circumstances.
They are kind of noisy but that's because of the additional treads which help with the grip in wet conditions.
No wear is noticeable yet on the tires since my motorcycle isn't that powerful, so on a 100+ HP motorcycle they'd be more worn out.
I'd buy these for any naked, adventure or scrambler type of motorcycles.

Writing about the Bridgestone Battlax Sport Touring T30 EVO rated 53%
while driving a Yamaha FZS 600
Driving on a combination of roads for 5700 spirited miles
Worst Tire I have ever tried, and I have tried many brands, mind you, I do not think Bridgestone is a bad brand, their S22 are legendary good, but this model in particular came on my Yamaha 600 Fazer and it is just a plastic donut, slips in the wet like it´s full of oil. In the dry it does ok but if you ride aggresively it does slip too, they last a very long time, I have done more than 5000km and they still look almost new, but the performance is lacking, I would not recommend this tire unless you ride like a granny on sunny days. For me, Michelin has the best wet weather tires, followed by Dunlop and Pirelli. But I am sure other brands, including Bridgestone have better tires. Hope this helps.

while driving a Honda nc750x
Driving on a combination of roads for 4000 average miles
Had these tires on for 4,000 miles and still look like knew, when they were first fitted I immediatlly had front steering wobble which was not the case before the tires were fitted, i found one review that said this is normal and wears off after about 4,000 miles, however that has not occured I have checked the front disc for run out and found a tight spot, which I can only assume happened when the tire was changed I.E tire lever bent the disc, as I have just replaced the front disc and the problem is cured thus given back the confidence to ride wet and dry, and yes i have got the suspension set up correctly.
I would buy these tires again

Writing about the Michelin Pilot Road 4 rated 76%
while driving a Yamaha YZF 600r
Driving on mostly country roads for 8000 average miles
Pilot Road 4 know to wiggle and slip somethimes before and in the corner on 10-20 degree lean angle or,when you cross the road white line and similar situations and this is something that you must accept and adapt. Wet grip and dry grip is decent but,on trackday if you are slow or medium slow driver, anything faster above that will cause rear wheel to slip. Response is okay, they biggest advantage is longevity and its good for touring and commuting. You can enjoy in the curves but easy on the throttle. Someting i notice is that they wear nice and gradualy from 100% to 30% and they can run for about 12.000km like that, after they reach 30% of tread they wear faster so i think they maximum is about 14.000km. The price is pretty high so i dont recommend it just beacause, there are similar tires with identical characteristic that are cheaper. I ride my motorcycle in Europe where climate is not harsh, mostly during summer and i tryed this tires in all situations, they said Road 4 is multi purpose tire,i said " For casualy riding, touring and commuting, not so sporty" One more thing,on hot summer day like 30degree outside this tires know to slip when you accelerate, not always but somethimes when you want to lauch the rocket on the straight line, you know what i mean and this dissapoints me a little bit. If the touring and longevity is important to you then consider this tire.

while driving a Suzuki Gsx650FK8
Driving on mostly country roads for 100 miles
I have used Pirelli Angels on all of my last bikes. Put these on and Wow they are fantastic. Tipping in , stability is great. In places where the Pirellis was getting unstable these are just planted. Bumps that caused problems with the Pirellis have gone great tire.
