Here's an excellent winter tire overview from Auto Bild, who managed to test 50 winter tires in a shoot out format to decide the tires submitted to their top 15 super test.

As always, every tire was tested in wet braking from 80kph, with the best 24 of those being tested in snow braking from 50kph.

The Braking Results

Please note: Auto Bild considered places 24-50 so dangerous they did not test them in the snow. Our results show 0.1 metres for formatting reasons
