Fitment comes from each tire's manufactured size list, and the sizes are the ones drivers reported when they reviewed. Check the size, load index and speed rating on your own doorplate before buying - a size a previous owner ran is not always the size your car left the factory on.

So drive on these everyday all year round on the front, motorway, A and B roads, now getting to the wear bar at 18000 miles.
They break traction at roundabouts if there is grit of salt on the road when you pull out, That's about the only real issue I have found.
Drove through some atrocious rain storms on the A1 last year and never felt the car move around at all, and I do not hang about.

Ok they are getting noisier as we get towards the end of their life, but on an icy January morning or with a little snow on the ground I know I am getting to work !
There seems to be more grip from these than the summer Continentals on the works car.
Would I have another set, yes as I cannot find any all seasons tires to fit the bill.

They cost less than half the price of the top brands. You can't expect them the be as good. They are however a fairly good tire. I have them fitted to a 160 BHP Insignia, not a rocket ship but still got a fair amount of torque. I use the vehicle as a taxi and have driven to all kinds of conditions. They are a pretty good all rounder, well worth the money considering the savings so long as you don't expect them to perform like a top brand when pushed hard.

I have to say I have bought these tires twice now. The first 2 for the front are 18 months old and hardly worn. Have just bought 2 more for the back. Had no issues whatsoever, they are comfortable, well wearing, and have had no experience of slippage in wet or dry conditions. I cannot fault them and the value for money is superb. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a good tire at a very reasonable price.

Bridgestone Potenza RE050A 225-45-18-W Vauxhall Insignia ST SRI CDTI ecoFLEX 160 24,000 miles September 27, 2013
After 24000 miles (3 years: 2y in front + 1y in back) my front tires need to be replaced (maybe they can hang on for another 1000 miles). The back tires are ok, maybe they get another 20000 miles?!
I have exchange the front with the rear tires at 8000 and at 16000 miles. I guess the "low" wear is due to that exchange.
I usually check the pressuare, assuring 34psi at front and 37psi at back.
This are the factory tires, and i will put another Potenza RE050A.
I can't compare this tires to others because i haven't tried another tires in this car, but i don't have nothing bad to say about this tires. So i think they are good tires. Anyway they are some of the top tires from bridgestone, so they must be good.
These tires aren't noisy (at least in my car).
I'm from Portugal so you can figure it out the weather: mostly sun, but some heavy rain/wet roads, and some/little snow.

I got these on my Insignia SRI CDTI160 they replaced the factory fitted Conti contact 3's( which lasted 7k)...I was dubious about them as they are pretty cheap. I was pleasantly surprised with how good they are. In the wet the traction control lights up a bit more often and the car can be drifted a little. In the dry they compare very well with the conti 3's. I covered 13k miles before the fronts were down to 2mm. Ive just replaced them with the same tires. I cant understand how people slate them, maybe they just cant drive! I do 35k a year and have driven for 30 years, so I think I am qualified enough to judge a tire. At the end of the day they are a budget tire that lasts and gives good levels of grip.

Having opted for the 20 inch rims I noticed that after only 13000 miles the front tires were completely worn. I have replaced them with Pirelli P Zero and having done only another 2000 miles the jury is still out on these very expensive replacements. The rear tires are still probably only 25% worn which is what I would expect. Surely a set of tryes should last longer than 12k miles especially since the car is driven modestly on normal roads.

I found these to be excellent tires, having covered 25,000 miles with no problems. I was going to replace them with the same brand, but the price has risen substantially compared to other brands, which is a shame.

They are an excellent tire for someone who does a large mileage, they are now down to about 4 mm after 21,000 miles. they have not suffered the road noise due to 'cupping' that both other sets of tires have suffered (Avon ZZ and Bridgestone OEM. In all respects they are as good as the potenzas.

Continental Sport Contact 3 245-45-18-W Vauxhall Insignia ST SRI CDTI ecoFLEX 160 20,000 miles October 23, 2011
Like any front wheel drive car the fronts wore more heavily than the rear. In an attempt to be in a position to replace all four tires at the same time in time for winter I swapped the tires front to rear and vise versa at 16,000. I should have done this maybe 2,000 miles earlier as I'm now at 20,000 and the tires now on the rear will need replacing very soon however the fronts have maybe another 3,000 in them. Most of these miles have been covered on motorways but I tend not to hang around and love to chuck the car into corners when the road gets twisty. Overall I've been impressed with the lifespan and particularly how quiet a tire it has been and if the price is right I'm minded to get the same again as this is what Vauxhall chose to fit the car with from the factory after all.
