Volvo V60 T6 AWD Tire Review Highlights
Writing about the Kumho Ecsta Sport PS72 given 77% (235-40-19)
i fitted the Kumho last october, to replace the factory fitted Michelin Primacy 4 on my Volvo V60 T6. I only drove a few weeks, prior to fitting winter tires for the season, so these are my initial impressions. More details next Spring.
My first feeling is the tire is very direct and with a high level of grip. stable at (very) high speed, and with high levels of grip, also on cold damp roads. The tire is a bit noisy, and despite being the same size as the OE, there is a higher margin of error on the tacho speed- real GPS speed (which I assume is linked to different tread depth of the tire).
Overall an honestly good tire, especially at is significantly cheaper to the other options I had considered, namely the SportContact7 and the Potenza Sport.

Driving on a combination of roads for 150 average miles
I live in middle-part of Sweden where the weather can be up and down. from practically rainy roads, to dry and out of nowhere snow&ice roads due to weather changes. I went from Studded tires(been using those for 12years now and wanted to switch up and see how it felt to use studless and am I amazed how far the it come? it's just magnificent, less road noise due to not studded but wow the performance is just unpeccable. They saying wet grip is not that good-okey-ish but for me they have been great, snow & ice is just as we all know .."they are hakka" for a reason.

Driving on mostly motorways for 10000 spirited miles
Replaced the original Primacy 4 VOL with this set of new Gitis. So far very happy with the choice. Very comfortable and quite tires, no noticeable difference with the Michelin. Dry handling gives confidence and even in heavy rain the tire seems to well. The only negative point would be that the rim protector seems quite small and don't think it would do a good job. All things considered, and especially the low price point, these are a great choice and value for money! Recommended!

Driving on a combination of roads for 10000 spirited miles
I had these tires installed prior to picking up my new(to me) V60. Drove the car from Montreal to Halifax. Initially on dry roads with temperatures below freezing. What first struck was how quiet these tires are. Not just for winter tires but also compared to the all season Continentals I use for summer driving. The next day I drove in blizzard conditions(driving snow on uncleared highway) which eventually turned to slushy(wet snow) roads then finally wet roads. So within 24 hours I was able to test these tires in every winter condition other than hardpacked ice. They performed flawlessly and were confidence inspiring. Very stable, quiet and responsive. Very happy with these tires and would recommend to anyone.
