Volkswagen golf plus 1.9tdi se Tire Review Highlights
Sunday morning 07:00 in the rain (my favorite) the tires preformed almost as good as winter tires... a lot of grip even in beyond "the limit" situations, that's why I wanted to try them... In the dry they let go when pushed but still keep the car where you want to go. Also, silica tire squeal is very high sound frequency, almost inaudible... this is normal and it allows you to focus on cornering... Tire has somewhat stiff sidewall so it has less "float" feel than "comfort" competitors but without being too harsh. If you change and balance the tires yourself an all season tire simplifies your work even if they last a few thousand km less than dedicated summer tires... 9/10 If they make it last longer than what the tests show it will be 10/10... We'll see.

Got these tires on special offer for winter driving & work a treat on the motorway and very resonsive. Around the awful city of Sheffield these tires are a bit to keen and can feel the abs kicking as the tires grip to the gravel on the road. Not a bad thing and proves how good at gripping they are. Tires only 1,000 miles old and not driven hard so virtually no wear at all. Can't really comment on driving in dry conditions and will swap these back to non winter tires when it warms up.

I'm not a fan of budget tires but these definitely buck the trend. I wouldn't rate them as budget now I've had them for 15,000 miles. On the front of a quite heavy car they still have 3.5mm left without sacrificing grip and feedback. They are going on the rear next week...to make way for a new pair on the front. Brilliant value for money.
