Worst wet weather grip I have ever known. The car spins its wheels on pull away and even when moving in the lower gears ( I do not drive a fast car!) on roundabouts it understeers and just go straight if there is any moisture at all on the road. My stopping distances are huge . I really think these tires are actually dangerous and I am planning to get rid of them asap money allowing. I run an old cheap car for commuting so I bought a budget tire-big mistake.

I had heard good things about these tires but NO-they are terrible. I fitted them on the front of my rover 25 1.6 and now 2000 miles later after driving in wet wintery England I am really glad summer is coming so they might actually warm up and start to work! On roundabouts they understeer my breaking distances are way longer with abs kicking in all the time. On any road with any bit of dampness they break traction and spin even in 2nd gear whilst accelerating in a straight line. It is like driving on ice all the time ! My car produces a modest 109 hp but it feels like I am trying to put 300 bhp through the front wheels the way they continually break traction. Don't even think about leaving the traffic lights quickly. Ok temperatures have not hit double figures since I bought them and I am really hoping that this is just a cold weather thing but for the UK in winter I would rate these tires as actually dangerous -do not buy them.

Avon zv7 185/55/15. fitted to the rear of a 1.4 rover 25. These tires were purchased on 11/7/2019; The car has done about 2000 miles on them. I got MOT advisories on both of them for cracks at the bottom of the tread grooves on 21/12/2021. I am a pensioner. I do not drive like a lunatic.

I have ordered twice these high quality King Meiler all season tires. Driving mainly on highways in Northern Europe never had any issues. Highly recommendable.

These tires were fitted to the car when we bought it, my wife complained for the 12,000 miles that she used the car that the wet grip was horrible, but she never got round to changing them.
I have since taken ownership of the car, these tires offer an acceptable level of grip in hot, dry weather, but next to nothing in the wet. They are very loud. I shall be replacing these tires tomorrow, they have plenty of tread left but I might as well be driving a hovercraft with the grip level they offer. Definitely a tire to avoid!

Worst tires I have ever bought. Had them removed after a week, even at a low speed in the wet the car went straight on when turning a right hand bend! Only a 1.4 rover 25 so hardly a performance car. Felt soggy and underinflated the whole time, replaced with avon zv5s which transformed the car

Just put these on the front of my Rover 25. Already driven in both dry and wet conditions and these tires are a blessing compared to the budget brand previously fitted. Over 30 years of driving and having driven as a chauffeur in some of the worlds most luxury powerful cars I know my tires. So far, these tires are proving to be an excellent choice.

I bought the car with three of these tires already fitted.

I collected it on a wet day and nearly left it in a ditch on the way home because of the very poor wet grip of the tires.

Grip on the majority of wet roads is unacceptable when cornering or accelerating, unless a very sedate driving style is adopted and this means having to negotiate roundabouts etc at speeds well below the expectations of other road users.

I would definitely not recommend these tires to anybody: with wet grip performance this bad, I have no confidence in their ability to respond in an emergency manoeuvre.

Writing about the Uniroyal RainExpert given 95% (175-65-14-T)

I have just replaced Marshal tires which were on the car when I bought it with Uniroyals. Immediately, the ride comfort was better, road noise much less and grip in the dry better. (I have not yet driven them in the wet.) From previous experience with Rallye 550 I believe Uniroyals are excellent tires - and not expensive. One reviewer says he had new tires on the front with part-worn Dunlops on the rear. This is dangerous and could invalidate the insurance. New tires must ALWAYS go on the rear. Also, the tread pattern should always match on each side of the same axle. Different tires on the front and back are acceptable but the two on the same axle should match. In some countries this is a legal requirement. So please do not criticise the tires if you have fitted them incorrectly!

These are great tires had some on a Rover 25 and it was really nice to drive on country roads. Changed to Continentals and it lost some progressiveness in corners.
