Moved from worn out PZero pz4 (the rears were had 4mm left so stored in case new fronts wear out earlier) and have to say mpg is 22.2 for a L320 4.2 SC RRS which is a wee bit better than the Pirelli’s with road hum reduced at 70+mph. Great alternative although I only expect them to last maybe 10-13K miles whereas the previous lasted 18-20 but at just half the price. Bodes well.

Amazing set of tires! In every situation, they had my back. Whether it was navigating through heavy snow or driving on ice, they performed flawlessly. I even used them to rescue some cars stuck in the snow, which really put their capabilities to the test. These tires have been a game-changer for me, offering both reliability and exceptional grip in challenging conditions. Highly recommended!
Having owned Pirelli’s on a previous S4 Audi I wasn’t impressed, Then when buying my 2017 5.0 v8 supercharged Range Rover sport, it came with them fitted from new. The car is now 6 years old, has covered 42000 miles, and I’m now having to replace both front tires, due to cracking and a split on the inner sidewall on the near side tire. They are the original tires date marked 1617, so as far as longevity they’ve lasted well, but I have noticed under heavy breaking and quick steering in put, the car understeers tremendously could be that being 2.2tons doesn’t help. Through the winter though I never had any near misses and on the slushy icy roads not once felt not in control.
Had a set on my car when I bought it. Replaced then as they were a bit worn and managed 38k miles on them before they needed replaced. Booked the car in for 4 more.
Some people saying they wear quickly and no grip, etc. might be the case on their car but on mine they’ve been perfect. Quiet, comfortable and good grip in the wet. My car isn’t sporty so can’t comment on that sense as I just don’t know. I like to get my wheel alignment checked every 6 months or so.
Not great in the snow but no summer tires are.

I was loving these tires until I noticed that after 8 months use and 4000 easy miles the rears were way beyond the legal limit. There was really no tread left at all. They are seemingly far too soft for a heavy car such as a Range Rover Sport although these were XL 106Y rated. Have lost all faith in these tires. I would never use them again.
Very happy with the tires. They performed very well in deep snow and pulled the car out without any problems in the heaviest debris.
Dry and wet grip was average at best as was handling. They were fitted to my range rover sport when I bought it. Dated 3320 (wk 33 2020) so were less than 2 yrs old and looking at mot mileage, less than 5K miles. The edges, both inside and out on the fronts, the rubber had already perished and was badly cracked. Would definitely not buy these tires and if I bought a car with them fitted would stop at the tire shop on the way home and swap them out. Just fitted 4 x General Grabber GT. its like a different car..
Would not recommend these tires and if you already have them, would recommend changing them asap!
Put these on as a replacement for a set of Wrangler MT/R tires, for noise they are a bit quieter than the Wranglers and they have a good bit mor grip both in the wet and dry compared with them, off road they seem to perform as well as the Wrangler, and in the winter they have much better grip than them on ice and snow, tho this year has not been as bad as previous years.
In Belgium they do not have a winter rating where as in other countries they do.
I have gone through 4 sets of studded winter tires (Hakka2, Hakka5, Hakka7, Hakka9). Tried non studded Nokia WR (useless) and Michelin Pilot Alpin ( not great ). BUT....when the winter in Canada turns nasty and -25C or below turns rubber to hockey pucks, there's only one tire I turn to: Nokian Studded Hakkapelita! NOTHING stops on ice as good as these tires. My Range Rover turns into a Caterpillar snow plow . They give you such confidence, you think you're driving on dry. The studs are noisy but you don't hear them on the snow or ice covered roads. Good trade off for the sure grip they provide. Dry or wet grip is excellent also, considering I drive an SUV ( you can only get so much roll, going fast) . Only in the spring when the snow melts and the roads are dry you realize you are driving on "tank tracks",........and it's time to switch to All terrain tires ( and take the summer car out of storage as most Canadians do) ;) Not recommended for more moderate climates however, only the Northern American states and Nordic countries will benefit from these beauties.
The tires feel comfortable, but that is where it ends. If you drive like and old lady and don't mind 'Made in China' stamped on your tires, then go ahead and buy them, but beware, you might get a puncture in these soft Tire within the first st month of driving, that is what happened to me. I already replaced them with premuim tires soon after, my life is more important than cheap tires.
