Recently fitted these tires on a 2020 B9.5 Audi RS4 which replaced the old pilot sport 4S (2021 DOT - still had 3mm left all round)
- Wet driving = very confidence inspiring and very good when reaching the limit of traction (progressive breakaway). I would say they feel better than the Michelin but this could be due to new tires vs 5 year old 4S units. They are remarkably similar to the 4S in terms of wet performance.
- Dry driving = Again very good and very close the 4S (at least in fast road driving scenarios). The limit of traction is less progressive than the 4S but only marginal difference. Driver feedback is not as precise than the 4S during the initial turn in but settles nicely, The 4S felt like it had stiffer sidewalls.
- Comfort / noise = Very good, quieter than the 4S and more comfortable during day to day driving (Softer sidewall is potentially the reason for this).
- Fuel economy = has made little/ no difference to the car when using cruise control at motorway speeds.
- Wear = Not enough miles to fully determine but it has 7mm left after 800 miles (comes with 7.2mm new).
The only other point I can say is the sidewall looks a little stretched when fitted (compared to the same size / spec Michelin 4S tire - on a 10 inch wheel) but the rim protector still performs is job well. Its a great tire if you want to trade off marginally less initial steering feedback for increased levels of comfort / less noise!
