Audi Q7 Tire Review Highlights
Tigar SUV tires replaced my previous Yokohama set, bought them on a friend's advice.
extremely satisfied, very good wet performance , smooth driving, way cheaper than my previous yoko's.
would highly recommend.

Fitted all round my Audi Q7. Dry grip very good. Cornering good given its a heavy car. Braking excellent. Its a reinforced tire and has handled pot holes and rough surfaces well. Used for fast country roads and motorway distances - giving confident road holding. Noise levels better than the AS210 I use on a RAV4.

OEM in Audi Q7 50 Tdi Vorsprung. Hard to break traction through the bends in dry and amazingly wet too but they break a little early in hard wet braking. 35 profile gives a bit firmer ride than I'd like but overall good performance and value. Expecting to get approx 15-16k miles when they will be at 3mm. Would like a all-season tire ideally but those in this size in UK seem to have poor wet weather performance, so will probably stick with Hankook.

I bought these Petlas Explero tires 275/40/20 in 2022. I bought a set of summer tires and a set of winter tires.
I have already run about 65,000 km on the summer tires (3 seasons) and I can say that these are very good tires.
I personally did not expect such behavior on the road.
I drive the tires on an Audi Q7 2009 TDI, in general I drive a little faster outside the city.
Very good behavior in turns, in water and braking.
I can say the same thing about the winter tires from the same series.

Dry grip is good as long as the surface is good and it is reasonably warm. Most of the roads i drive are backroads, seldomly smooth and are undulating. Even when dry and warm, the grip and balance could be significantly better. In fairness, on dual carriageways, motorways and even decent A roads the dry handling is good and dry braking is controlled and predictable.
Wet grip, however, is not good. Neither is wet braking. Also, susceptible to aquaplaning.
Winter driving is very poor. Grip is poor, braking is terrible. The tires feel totally inadequate for winter driving even when there is no snow or ice. They certainly don’t impart any confidence.
Wear is reasonable although the front tires did wear faster than expected. Rolling resistance seems good. Comfort (and grip, balance and control) depends on road type. It is good on A roads, dual carriageways but sometimes seems to scrabble for grip on bumpy roads and comfort is affected.

I’m from South Africa to be precise I bought two sets of the same tire for two different cars I own I did not even drive 3000km on both cars and the tires separated and have bumps on the surface and side walls . Very disappointed in this brand. Bought the tires at tygerwheel and tires Strubenvally

Put these on my 2019 Q7 as a “cheap” seasonal option, a bit of a punt.
Anyway, have been very pleasantly surprised just how good these are in wet and wet snow conditions.
Had to travel to Cornwall and back over 2 days that happen to have been the worst winter weather over the SW for years.
Car remained completely stable cutting through banks of slush etc. Directional control was excellent and braking was entirely unremarkable, obviously allowing for much greater spacings.
While other cars slid and slipped these tires ate up the conditions, so much so that it felt as though I had full winter tires on. Lowest air temp -3 c .
Perfect for the UK imho and half the price of better known brands.

For this size, th201 maybe is the cheapest performance tire, only 500 yuan (around 65 euros) each, but the performance is not very much behind those expensive tires I used before, such as Goodyear F1 Asymmetric SUV and Michelin LS3. Very recommend if you can buy it at this price.

I was looking for a good brand tire without a major cash outlay. After asking my mechanic and searching reviews I agreed to go with Dynamo. As I drive a big and powerful car I was looking for something high performance and grippy. To be fair Dynamo ticks all the boxes. They look great, perform great and stop when you want them to stop! Big thumbs up from me! Will buy again 100%

These replaced the Pirelli that come as standard, but to be totally honest i rate these just as highly as the Pirelli maybe not just as much mileage but at half the price, it a no brainer !

I purchased a 2021 Audi Q7 which came with the HANKOOK VENTUS S1 EVO3 EV (K127E) and the tread did not last 6 months!
I went for an oil change and the dealer pointed out that the tread is at 2! My mileage is only 18,000!
My wife drives this and it is horrible in the snow! We purchased it around March of 2021. She is a comfort driver.
I asked the dealer why they would sell me summer tires that last only 18,000 miles and was told that Audi can't find good tires and this was all they run with?
If you are buying a new Audi - be careful! You may be getting tires that need to be replaced in a year, and they are not cheap. If the dealer you are considering buying from fails to mention the mileage you should expect form the new car, find another dealer, and one who will put that in writing!
Would have been nice if my sales rep mentioned this.
I feel ripped off and let down by the dealer and Audi!

For the price these are a great tire, fitter was surprised they were Audi original equipment but they are a good tire in the dry and the wet, manage to keep my Q7 safe on the road without complaining. They are not very good in snow but they don’t claim to be and are a summer tire. Massive rim protector too which is a bonus with 22s. At around £100 a corner cheaper than the big names, I cannot fault these.
