Given 93% while driving a Porsche 928 GT (245/45 R16 W) on mostly country roads for 12,000 spirited miles
I had several sets of these tires in Porsche OEM N-Spec. They are noisy and uncomfortable. So what? Porsche themselves required that if a car was ordered with these tires and sport suspension that the order had to be confirmed to make sure that there hadn't been a mistake.

This is a sad reflection upon the sort of people who bought Porsche 928 cars new. The combination of Bridgestone S-01 tires and Sport Suspension is what driving a Porsche is all about. The faster you go the better it gets!

They are a WONDERFUL driving tire. Fabulous grip, amazing turn-in and absolutely predictable at the limit. I found myself anticipating an amount of understeer which had been present in all the other tires I had used, This was replaced by wonderful bite and turn-in with the S-01 (Porsche N Spec.)

The Porsche 928 S4 calls of 44 PSI in the rear tires which causes some tires to wear in the middle and become useless in the wet. These tires are simply the best I ever had on my Porsche 928 in 200,000 miles of driving. If you want to drive like grandma get something else, but if you want to use the car as intended and drive it really hard these are very, very good tires. Sharp response, wonderful feel, and very well-behaved.

Given 67% while driving a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 4,500 spirited miles
Had these tires on my Mitsubishi Evo 6 when I bought it nearly new back in 2000. The grip was fantastic but came with a very high wear rating. They lasted for 4500 miles maximum, which conveniently fitted in with the manufacturer service intervals and worn out brake pad replacements. I tried the equivalent Michelin performance tire and it totally changed the grip and handling….for the worse. Makes sense, if you want grip you have to accept a softer tire with a high wear rating.
