Supplied with a front tire which shook and vibrated by BMW K1600gt at speeds over 60mph. Went through the warranty process and Avon (Goodyear) rejected my claim and could find nothing wrong with it. Initially fitted and balanced by a reputable dealer and the refitted and rebalanced by a second garage with the same dangerous results. Clearly not suitable for a BMW K1600gt despite their claims. Avoid at all costs.

Been plagued by punctures. They are so soft that a small staple used for paper punctured the tire. The rear tire has been punctured 7 times now and all by very thin bendable wire, less that 2mm thick. Will be going for a stronger option now.
I used the tire everywhere commuted had road trips and even had track days on it. Tire performs perfectly in dry needs little time to heat up and then sticks nonstop.
In the wet good only slips if i accelerate on the gixxer above 7000rpms but still managable. Rode 18.000kms rear was done and squared front still had little life left. On the track you can lean as much as you want just need the right pressure even if overeheating stick back after a small slide signaling you should rest. Overall perfect tire if you ride in different conditions from spring to late fall. tire life is guaranted to last 2 season for average rider.
The Bridgestone 023 is an excellent tire .Sadly it has been replaced by T31 andT32 . I have used BT 023GT on a Honda Blackbird 1100cc and have found them to have good grip in wet and dry conditions in the UK and while touring mainland Europe .

Second set on a K1600 GTL: solo, pillion commuting and touring with and without luggage. Never let me down, and I found them to be great even when soaking wet.
Don't use the bike in very cold conditions, so can't comment on winter suitability.
I am now getting the Smart IV so I look forward to even better tires.
Swapped out the Cobra Chromes that came with my Rocket 3R at 4500Km after a slick bit of tarseal took me and the bike down (Certain NZ Roads are shite in the wet)
Fitted 888 Marathon Ultra's front and back. Got good mileage out of them. Just replaced the rear at 18000KM (Thats how many K's i got out of it) as it was a bit slick(Spun up nicely whenever pulling away!!). Front still has fair bit of tread to go.
Considering the torque of the beast these tires have surpassed my expectations. Summer time grip is great. Winter time.....well just ride to the conditions!
Its good to always read reviews but really at the end of the day it all comes down to rider experience, type of bike and road conditions

Excellent in dry but have slipped more than enough times these are poor in the wet when turning at speeds 15-30 mainly around corners and rounder bouts so be careful. Apart from that they are solid in dry and have hardly worn after 7k miles in 13 months of use.

These tire have fantastic dry grip. They transformed the way my bike handles and gave me so much more confidence. That’s where the positives end. The front tire is super noisy. You probably won’t notice it if you have good hearing protection but I noticed it straight away when I put them on. Also the rear is already about half worn in the middle after just 3,000km. I thought these were supposed to be sport touring tires with a harder centre tread? I don’t do any motorway riding. I live in Wanaka, New Zealand so all of my riding is on mountainous roads. I do commute to work and back which has some straight road and roundabouts but it’s only about 5km each way. My rear tire has a big wide flat spot through the middle 1/3 of the tire width and I’m down to about 2.5mm of tread in the middle measured at the wear bars. I have about 3.5-4mm left close towards the edges. I check my tire pressure regularly with a Topeak digital gauge. I’m running 33/39 F/R. I ride a Honda CB650R. So yeah these tires feel great but wear way faster than a sport touring tire should. It needs harder rubber in the middle.
I’ve only ridden them once in the wet and I wasn’t going fast so I can’t comment on wet grip.

The Roadtec 02 gave me a new bike with really good feeling, grip, comfort and quietness. My bike has a of lot power, 175 hp, and torque, 140 Nm so I was interested in how it would wear and after + 5.000 km = 3.100 miles there is still a round profile from side to side. The grip on curvy roads and spirited driving is very good and gives me a lot of trust, I have also noticed that they build up heat fast for good grip. When it is time for new tires I will chose the same.
Changed from Roadsmart IV and Road 6 and they were noisy, hard, had bad feeling and tricky grip even on dry warm roads.

I admittedly bought the tire about 4 years ago and my bike sits under the house most of the time.
I reckon I get it out once a fortnight so it’s not done a lot of kilometres.
From memory, Pirellis used to be made in Italy. This one is Chinese and has developed a split in between the tread, down to the banding in the centre of the tire.
Seems like poor quality.
I’m a bit pissed. If I’d used it more regularly or off road I’d feel ok but there’s bugger all kilometres on it.
Worst Tire I have ever tried, and I have tried many brands, mind you, I do not think Bridgestone is a bad brand, their S22 are legendary good, but this model in particular came on my Yamaha 600 Fazer and it is just a plastic donut, slips in the wet like it´s full of oil. In the dry it does ok but if you ride aggresively it does slip too, they last a very long time, I have done more than 5000km and they still look almost new, but the performance is lacking, I would not recommend this tire unless you ride like a granny on sunny days. For me, Michelin has the best wet weather tires, followed by Dunlop and Pirelli. But I am sure other brands, including Bridgestone have better tires. Hope this helps.
