245/60 18 Tire Review Highlights

Falken Ziex ZE001 AS rated 86% while driving a Subaru Ascent
Driving on mostly town for 65000 easy going miles
I feel these tires have done a great job. We have put 55,000+ miles on the 65,000 mile rated tires (mostly highway miles). Just now beginning to look for new tires. I really like that they are so quiet. Yes, I would put these on my car again if I could find them.

Maxtrek TREK M7 rated 94% while driving a Honda Ridgeline
Driving on a combination of roads for 10 average miles
These tires work awesome for the price. Tires are very quiet for a snow tire. These tires even work great in summer. Traction in wet or dry is great. Good performance on snow and ice. Previous set lasted 80,000 km running tires all year around towing a trailer 50% of the time.

Nokian Outpost APT rated 97% while driving a Kia Motors
Driving on a combination of roads for 7000 spirited miles
These tires are awesome. They and very sturdy and mow over potholes. The tires have incredible traction in rain and snow and drive great in normal conditions as well. They also look bad ass with deep grooves and good siping. They are 3pmsf so you can drive them legally in winter conditions where that might be an issue. The tires have aramid sidewalls (Kevlar) which is a big bonus. Here is a video on what these fibers can do. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5LvBke-UqY After a lot of thought I am going to buy them for my other car (Mazda CX-5) instead of the Nokian WGR4s or Michelin Cross Climate 2's because the APTs can literally take you anywhere. Driving on gravel roads for example is like driving on a normal street. The tires are also relatively light and have low rolling resistance which is important for fuel efficiency. I highly recommend these tires and am genuinely perplexed why I can't find more reviews about them, or Nokian for that matter.

Kelly Edge AS rated 72% while driving a Lincoln
Driving on a combination of roads for 50000 average miles
This tire relies on the vehicle it is mounted on which makes reviewing it difficult however we have an all wheel drive Lincoln and are considering a third set, after tires get use over 50% they start getting noisy and we use them in the northern half of lower Michigan. This Lincoln is AWD.

Michelin Defender LTX MS rated 100% while driving a Toyota
Driving on a combination of roads for 70000 easy going miles
Purchased Defender LTX M/S for my 2016 Highlander in September, 2019. After 30,000 miles, I highly recommend. Great in snow, wet, dry conditions. Very secure on the road. Quiet! Low rolling friction which has increased gas mileage by 1 to 1 1/2 mpg. I expect to get 70K + tread wear.

These are incredible tires!! Dead quiet smooth ride, incredible snow handling, and Ice as well. Winters are tough here in Maine...but I am TOTALLY confident with these for my Toyota Highlander!! Like having a luxury tire ride, that also effortlessly handles winter weather! Highly recommended!

Nokian WR G4 rated 87% while driving a Kia Motors Telluride
Driving on a combination of roads for 53000 average miles
I live in Toronto, Ontario (Canada). Primary motivation to get these tires are to avoid the hassle of changing tires for the summer & winter season. To have set of tires that takes care of all and good for insurance, that is winter rate, 3 Mountain Peak + Show Flake. I drove 1,200Km through snow storm from St Louis ( US ) to Toronto. I drove back and forth from Toronto to Calgary during the last 2 weeks of December through snow storm & at temperatures varying from -27c to -38c. I have also used these tires through Kms of gravel roads, unpaved roads, Ontario Crown Land ( equivalent US BLM ) for light off roading. In all these conditions, these tires lived up to its promise. Specially, during winter snow & ice, I didn't feel the difference between my winter tire experience & this all weather experience. Previously I have used Firestone & Hankook dedicate Winter Tires. Not much of road noise but as the treads wear off to the finish maker, the road noise increases to humming sound, as if the wheel bearing got worn off. Would buy them again, but Nokian now had Outpost. This 2022 winter, planning to mount those. I recommend these WRG4 to everybody.

Landsail CLV2 rated NAN% while driving a Ford Explorer 2019 (front wheel drive)
Driving on a combination of roads for 1500 easy going miles
Bought a certified second had 2019 Ford Explorer from the dealer recently. The vehicle came with 245/60 "18 Landsail tires fitted newly. Being a reputed dealer, I don't think they fitted low-quality tires specially in a climate where temperatures reach between 40 to 50 degrees. I am an average driver and was impressed with the very low noise and the tread pattern that looks a copy of the General Grabber HTS60. I’ve done some hard cornering on dry ground to test the tire and they grip very well. I’ve driven the vehicle at highway speeds of up to 140km/h. They are very stable and responsive. I did not see any difference when compared to the reputable brands I used before in my previous Explorer. Driven around 3000km at the moment. No complaints so far.

Avon AX7 rated 93% while driving a Volkswagen 2.0 TDI 4Motion 16V
Driving on a combination of roads for 11000 spirited miles
When I bought them for my amarok I was given the wrong tire size (my fault wanted 65’s but typed 60’s) anyway they are a great tire to be perfectly honest I’d buy them again but the right size ! These tires have driven 5000miles a month and they have never let me down but did get a puncture on site but other than that perfect

Maxxis Escapade CUV CV01 rated 87% while driving a Kia Motors sorento
Driving on a combination of roads for 4000 spirited miles
I read the reviews of this tire and got worried it may be too noisy. I've had them fitted and have had no such issue, in fact they're quieter than the OEM Hankooks my car came with.
Excellent wet road grip and handling. Very happy.

Toyo Celsius rated 100% while driving a Honda pilot
Driving on a combination of roads for 100000 average miles
I have had many tires on my vehicles, this is the overall best tire. Over 100000Km Have had these tires in the worst of snow storms and the hottest of days...rain, sleet and ice. I will be replacing them with another set of Toyo Celsius CUV. Does what it says it will do.
