Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6 vs Falken Euroall Season AS220 Pro

This head-to-head pits Bridgestone's Turanza All Season 6, a premium touring all-season, against Falken's Euroall Season AS220 Pro, an all-season tuned toward ultra-high-performance dynamics. Across five shared independent tests spanning SUVs and sporty fitments, both tires deliver credible year-round ability but with distinct priorities.

The data consistently shows the Bridgestone leading in safety-critical wet and snow metrics, plus braking performance in the dry, while Falken counters with slightly sharper dry handling and lower noise in several tests. If you're choosing between everyday assurance in mixed climates versus a drier-road, sportier edge, the contrasts here are clear.

Best Review for the Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6
Given 90% 225/45 R17 on a combination of roads for 300 average miles
Hi, I've done around 500km on new Turanza, mainly in city. I've got Mondeo mk4 1.6TDCI after chip. I've used previously Vredestein Quatrac Pro. I've have tested so far Bridgestone on the dry and wet in 20-5C. So far they more comfortable than Vredestein Quatrac Pro, noise is around the same (so they rather quiet tires - I've been using 225/50 R17 (not a standard Mondeo mk4, but similiar size (a bit bigger than standard 215/50R17 and smaller than next standard tire 235/45R18))). On dry Bridgestones are more gripper than Vredestein and on wet the are excellent compared to Vredestein. On Quatrac... Continue reading this review using the link below

Fitted all round my Audi Q7. Dry grip very good. Cornering good given its a heavy car. Braking excellent. Its a reinforced tire and has handled pot holes and rough surfaces well. Used for fast country roads and motorway distances - giving confident road holding. Noise levels better than the AS210 I use on a RAV4.

Conclusion

Across the test set, the Turanza All Season 6 is the more complete all-rounder: it won all five comparisons overall and dominates wet braking, aquaplaning resistance, and snow performance. It also posts shorter dry stops, stronger efficiency (lower rolling resistance and fuel use in key tests), and markedly better wear in the Auto Bild mileage assessment. These are meaningful safety and ownership-cost advantages.

The Falken Euroall Season AS220 Pro appeals to drivers prioritizing crisp dry handling and a quieter cabin, especially in milder regions with infrequent snow. However, its weaker snow capability and generally longer wet stops make it less confidence-inspiring in poor weather. For most all-season buyers-commuters, family vehicles, and SUV owners-the Bridgestone is the safer, more versatile choice. Enthusiasts in temperate climates who value steering response at a keener price may prefer the Falken.
Key Differences
  • Overall results: Bridgestone wins all 5 shared tests; Falken wins none
  • Wet safety: Bridgestone leads wet braking in every test (e.g., −2-6% stopping distance)
  • Aquaplaning: Bridgestone has stronger straight/curved aquaplaning resistance
  • Snow performance: Bridgestone markedly stronger (e.g., +12-22% in several SUV snow metrics)
  • Dry performance balance: Bridgestone stops shorter; Falken steers/handles slightly quicker on dry laps
  • Efficiency and wear: Bridgestone shows lower rolling resistance/fuel and far better mileage in Auto Bild

Footnote

This page has been developed using tire industry testing best practices. This means we are only comparing tests which have had both tires in the same test.

Why is this important? Tire testing is heavily affected by things like surface grip levels and surface temperature, which means you can only compare values from the same day. During a tire test external condition changes are calculated into the overall results, but it is not possible to calculate this between tire tests performed on different days or at different locations.

As a result you will see other tests on Tire Reviews which feature both the %s and %s, but as they weren't conducted on the same day, the results are not comparable.

Lots of other websites do this sort of tire comparison, Tire Reviews doesn't.
