Volkswagen T Cross Tires

From day 1 to 5000 khm the Tire perform more than average, after start loosing grip when on turbo boost. Spin wheels with 2nd gear as low as 2000 rpm. For 1.5 TSI engine I did not expect that. Car come with Good Year, I dont remember the model, but was quieter until the end of them.
I rotate them after 14000 Khm but again no deference. Next time Michelin or Dunlop.

I bought a VW T Cross that came fitted with this tire. It is a decent enough tire in terms of braking and handling. Wet grip maybe a bit suspicious but I've had worse. Road noise also bit on high side. However, my biggest complaint is the amount of punctures I had. Around a puncture a week. I have preferred Continentals for many years and had never had to do so many repairs before (my driving habits had not changed). After 25 000 km I had enough and reverted back to Continentals, no punctures for last two months touch wood. I ditched a set of tires that had plenty of tread left bit heartbreaking considering cost to replace all four tires at once, but peace of mind is real important. I would not recommend these tires for South African conditions.

All is well - but for the unfixable front wheel shimmy. From 120kph onward the steering vibrates. Pressure changes and balancing to no avail. Self sealing perhaps the problem? Car is VW T-Roc Convertible.

Safe tires that get me safely everywhere I go. I've driven them in hot weather, heavy rain,.. always with trust. They are not sporty but if you don't have a sporty car, it doesn't matter at all. The Hankooks are also very economic and the wear is really good. +30k km's and still enough thread to go.

Good looking tire with reliable grip. I'm a sporty driver, although my car isn't sporty. The tires give me a good grip, maybe not the best, but i've never felt losing grip while driving. Also in the snow it's very good. I would buy these again!
