Best Tires for the Mercedes Benz A140

This winter tire is the best I've ever had. I (70) have driven on many different brands in the past, including some premium manufacturers; but this tire is just as good. It's proven its quality, especially in the last few days. I'm thrilled!

Tigar prima only one word, average.!!!!,not buy them again.not bad but there are other tires for the same money like matador hectora47 3.

Bought these tires especially for their wet grip performance, which according to several tests is about as good as the grip of Continental ts850 or Goodyear Ultragrip9. Snow performance also seems to be great but the Dutch winters are pretty mild so we hardly get any snow.

Driving in wet conditions I have to conclude these tires are outstanding; very good grip and they feel very 'planted'. Compared to winter response 1 which I had before I feel the wet grip is better. Compared to my summer tires (michelin energy saver +) these tires offer (much) better grip in the rain/ on wet roads and for sure when there would be any snow or ice the winter tires would offer much much better grip. When the temperature goes down I will anyway benefit from the Dunlop winter tires, whether we get snow or not.

On the dry these tires perform about the same as the summer tires, with less understeer. On the wet they offer better grip and the handling is truly excellent. The rolling resistance is low and so far I don't notice any difference in fuel economy with my summer tires, which is great. Very much recommended!

Very comfortable and quiet tire, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the wet grip. It's an old type but check the reviews on oponeo and you"ll see it got lots of happy users. Got them with my occassion car together with Michelins energy for summer. The Dunlops are more comfortable, quiter and give a more stable driving experience.

have them on my mercedes a 140 on the rear end.great tire.either them or verdestein buy again

have them on my mercedes a140.the car sleeps on the road.i will buy them again any day,i wanted pirelli cinturato c7 but you get the same quality for lower price

Very poor wet grip, I've never seen the ESP light flickering so often. Almost impossible to make quick getaways on damp or wet roads. Fine in the dry though, quiet and stable. Dread to think what the increase in stopping distance over proper tires is with these in the rain though!
