Driving on mostly motorways for 10000 average miles
They seem to work well in all conditions I threw at them in and around Czech Republic. Perfect in snowy conditions in the mountains as well as in the wet. Road feedback and dry grip is good for a winter tire. Wear seems to be pretty good, with 6+ and 8 mm tread depth left after 2 seasons (fronts and rears swapped every year, but one pair got worn down a bit more this year). I'd buy these again as they seem to be a perfect combination for most winter conditions around Europe.

Tires I'm reviewing are marked as T005A, which are apparently Asian-specific model of T005 with emphasis on wet performance. They were also the factory tire on my car. In my opinion they are pretty comfortable for such a low profile tire, their wet performance seems pretty good (had zero issues with them). The softness goes a bit against the feedback they give from the road, so in the dry they are not the most confidence inspiring tires. I cannot judge the rolling resistance, as these are the first summer tires on the car. Currently at 7mm after roughly 5000 miles, but I haven't measured the original tread depth, so we'll see after another summer, how long lasting are they (which according to other reviews is their weak spot).

Driving on a combination of roads for 4000 spirited miles
I was sceptical of Nexen at first. But then we got set of original Winguard Sports when we purchased used car and they were good. So I decided to give Winguard Sport 2 a go. I'm so far impressed. I have them on now 2nd season. First they feel real good in wet. I feel safe. Curious how long before I notice significant worse performnce, budget tires do fall off a bit faster than premium. In dry all is good, not enough power to really push them tbh (180 HP). They do feel a bit more "rolly" in corners than summer Turanzas. Reason for that must be a bit softer sidewall. So that's why a bit lower score in Handling and Road feedback. Good for winter tire but it is no PS4, obviously. In snow it feels good, but didn't really have chance to drive it much at loads of snow. Mostly motorway and it was good. For the budget I'm really happy.
