An excellent set of tires from Michelin. These tires have admirable grip in the dry and superb grip in the wet. Aggressive driving in both wet and dry conditions with these tires is not an issue at all. As you push the tires to their limit, they respond appropriately so there are no sudden nasty surprises; but given my limited driving skills they usually outperform me.
These tires are extremely comfortable and quiet which was a very pleasant surprise but I believe somewhat reduces the feedback from the road which I am used to. Longevity is to be seen, but given the excellent all round performance and the price I paid; I would definitely look at these again.

Recently got PS3's for the front end of my st220 after having horrific problems with noise and grip from the budget federal ss595's that i had on before that were dangerous due to me having 220 bhp going through them. The result is as follows:-
NOISE ISSUES/COMFORT
1) Noise level has been reduced by about 70% on road deviations/general running
2) When going down larger holes/drain indentations the impact is far more cushioned and softer
3)speed bumps i hardly feel anymore
DRY GRIP/WETGRIP
1) In the dry they feel like i have an extra 50 bhp compared to the federals and i am getting about 30 miles extra out of a tank of petol
2) In the wet they grip really well with no loss of traction and great progression. I can also now return to going around roundbouts at speed without worrying im about to visit the cows in the fields nearby like i did everytime with the federals losing grip. Dont know why but i felt very slightly more confident in the wet on roundabouts when i had the Pirelli Zero Rosso's on the front, but this may just be down to a difference in the feel of the tire as i think the Pirellis may be slightly softer.
OVERALL
Massive improvement in the handling of the car and i would definately buy them again. Not sure how long they will last however i will update when im at about 8000 miles.

Just fitted in replacement for Pirelli P6000 (awful tire). These are a huge improvement - ride, wet and dry grip, smoother - great tire. Only downside is the price - but you get what you pay for!

Golf GT TDI 140. My previous tires were the Michelin Energy's. These Pilot Sport 3's are in a different league. Excellent grip in the wet and dry. Highly recommended. Even the missus says they are great and are a lot safer than the old tires.

Good tire, very reassuring in the wet. After 6 months and 8k miles however I've noticed that the initial stickiness isn't as good. Down to 2.5mm and already considering replacement for winter. This time I'll be looking a cheaper options!

I've had the benefit of driving on 5 different tires on my 2.0L sport A3's over a few years. Some I put on and had them replaced immediately (ie: Pirelli Rosso's). Just fitted now are the PS3's. They are an outstanding tire, cornering stability is great and feel is pretty good, on a Porsche they would be outstanding, but regardless of how good a tire is, its all to do with suitability, and as good as these tires are, they come close but don't top my preference for A3's. They seem a touch too heavy for the gearbox, making the engine and gearbox labour a little harder than with the Michelin Pilot Primacy which I replaced. The Primacy were probably the best suited tire for this car, but were far too noisy, and if you don't take every corner at 100k/hr (because really A3's are not a performance car - but sport luxury) they were perfect for the average driver.
I have tried Pirelli Rosso & Nero's, Dunlop 9000sp(o/e), and ContiSport Contact 3's.
The Continentals were the BEST tire and most suited when you want a little performance. They are light, comfortable and perform very very well. I find some performance tires can be too heavy for small cars that have 17" or smaller. and to be truthful the PS3's are not quite perfect for this car, (maybe better if you had less rubber - 18" wheels?). Conti's take pole for best in comfort, feel and performance for Audi A3. For Audi Sport Cars, they are super! (RS4 have them as o/e !!). But If comfort is only preference, you could buy the new model michelin Primacy LC.

Good tire so far. Reduced wheel spin and torque steer. Excellent grip in the dry. Good in the wet. Only down fall can be noisy.

Very good tire fitted to Jaguar S Type R, despite the weight and spirited driving, they have lasted very well. 10k miles in 6 months and appear to be half worn.
Better than previous tires on this car ( Pirelli corsa rossos, Goodyear f1a) in respect to grip, noise and wear.
Would certainly buy them again.

The whole point of a new tire is that it should be better than the one its replacing. Ok its slightly better in the wet than the old PS2 but not as good in the dry.
